Leave early so you cam stop and eat at Hog Heaven. It's just on the outskirts of town but easy on and off Route 77. -

ColumbusguyHow many Norwayne Players are hurt? I heard they have 1 WR on crutches
Running back with a concussion, and a DB with a concusssion from the Girard game
I don't think Johnstown has has any injuries -

Really nothing close to the stadium, it is in a residential area of town.Columbusguy;983517 wrote:What good fast food joint are around there to grab something good to eat

Hog Heaven shouldn't be very busy at that time in the afternoon. Good wings/ribs/pulled pork/etc.
at the same exit (exit 81) you get off for Hog Heaven, there are a handful of fast food restaurants, a Texas Roadhouse and a Mexican joint El San Jose. If you stay on that road, High Ave, and take it to downtown there is a Chinese place, Broadway Brewhouse(good bar food and lots of tvs) and Gavin's, which is similar to the Brewhouse but less TV's.
High Ave intersects with Broadway at the square. Take a left (North) onto Broadway and the stadium will be about 1 mile on your left. -

I used to drive Columbus to New Philadelphia (and back) about once a week when I was in college. The fastest way was just to go 70 E to 77 N to exit 81.Columbusguy;983703 wrote:What's the best way up there out of Columbus

There are grills and tables/shelters in the park with the stadium. No need to haul everything if you don't want to.thePITman;983571 wrote:If I end up making the trip to this game, I'll be tailgating w/ Ringz and Beast. You're welcome to join and grab a burger and brat. -

Thanks for the update. I will look for those. I'll still bring my grill just in case (one of the portable ones, so not difficult to lug around).Dover;984051 wrote:There are grills and tables/shelters in the park with the stadium. No need to haul everything if you don't want to. -

1_beastIm thoroughly looking forward to this game....but with a horrible chest cold...Im watching the weather now. Depending basically if its going to be a rainy night is what will ultimately decide my plans!
Wrestling season is upon us...Beast Jr is wrestling Monday night in the Ashland Preview.....soooooo I need to kick this cold. -
BeToughDidnt #22 get taken off in a wheelchair to the ambulance after the game? He was helpless on the field for a long time and was laying on the turf while the coach was talking to the team and during the award presentation. Who cleared him?

Before the season Norwayne took part in a thing where every player was tested and documented for pre-concussion symptoms, reactions, and other results so that if they were to encounter a concussion or experience concussion-like symptoms during the season, they had a baseline to compare to and scientifically, statistically clear or hold back a player by a doctor examining the results.BeTough;984185 wrote:Didnt #22 get taken off in a wheelchair to the ambulance after the game? Oddly enough, the player in the front of the picture in the link below is the one who you are referring to.

BobcatHow many times has thedemoralizer picked against the Cats this year?....all of them! LOL you are funny. Tell us what caused this absolute hatred for THE REGIONAL CHAMPIONS? I'm sure everyone would like to hear
The only thing that stopped the Cats on Saturday was the Cats. 3 turnovers and we still won. We were driving when all 3 occurred. IMO this game isnt even close if we dont turn the ball over. -
BobcatTyler Zimmerly actually failed his test to play last week and didnt. He has been cleared this week and will play as will Dustin Grier

You better be there. I'll be making a 5 and a half hour trip from PA straight to the game, and myself and the family may be hungry..........and thirsty...lolthePITman;984065 wrote:As long as I am tailgating (Saturday plans still up in the air), any OC'er is welcome to join! -
Go Riders
My understanding on a concussion is the state of Ohio mandates 1 week no play and after that the player must pass a concussion test. Is this true? I know that when an Orrville player went down with a concussion the player was out for a week period. Does anyone know the ruling on this?Bobcat;984236 wrote:Tyler Zimmerly actually failed his test to play last week and didnt. He has been cleared this week and will play as will Dustin Grier
