Orrville Red Rider Football 2012

gowoo. we are glad he is in Orrville I don't want to see him go anywhere except the endzone.

Series- From what I saw of the team last week I don't think that is it. I saw no signs of it anyway.

Not in the least. Keep trying.

    There's a reality to a 1 win season...but not apathy. I've seen apathy...we're nowhere close.

Adds nothing to the conversation...But nothing new.

Tell me why you believe that. It's obviously not showing in the kids or the coaches....pretty proud of how they've kept working hard & fighting....but obviously you see it differently. Big surprise.

Series just stirring for no reason.

Seems like he was talking about the OC "blog".

It's been like that the first three or four days after a loss, especially where the loss was by 2 td's or more.

I didn't say anything about the football player's or the coaches!

You spend too much time "trying" to cast negative aspersions!

That reality is that they're losing! That some of the losses might not have been so bad if the coach would have utilized plays and players that produced. Alas, he didn't, hence losing, and waiting for the weaker teams in hopes of getting a victory.

Mess around and lose to Wooster, then watch the apathy!

Series-I think most of the Rider faithful are happy to see a team and coaches fighting the way they are. These kids could have packed it in at this point they are playing for pride. As much as you don't like the coach even you have to admit that he has kept them "in the season" and competing.

I for one would not be suprised if they lose the last two games, but this team has shown that they are going out to win and not just finish up the season. I will be happy if they go out and win the last two games. End on a high and beat Wooster!

    Perhaps...alas.....hence....therefore.

Alas, thou art a broken record.

LOL...so true! Never a positive thing to say and continues to throw the program under the bus!

And will probably show his generous support to the schools by voting NO for the levy!

you are correct and I think they will definitely lose to Wooster. they will not be able to score enough points to stay with Wooster. There defense is pretty bad also but their offense is light years ahead of ours.

It's not apathy, just to much of the repetitive negativity.

They gave up 49 to Madison...we gave up 14.

What they do on offense could be offset by what we do on defense.

Last 2 games we've given up 35 total. Wooster gave up 75 to those same 2 games.

If they lay an egg or get held under 14 by WH this week and we beat Clear Fork & show some life offensively (which I think we will)...all bets are off for week 10.

I hope I am wrong but I seriously think Wooster wins by at least 21 over us . Here is something to think about, Wooster beat Wadsworth who shut out Copley . They also nearly beat chagrin Falls .

Look at RR1, puttin' up the stats. I will give him a big BRF pat on the back to help build his self serving ego.

BUT......we've got a big game coming up to TRY to get that first win on our turf!

    First things first.

You know its bad in the ville when we resort to hoping and praying and thinking we just might beat a 2 win team in our own division. They absolutely better beat Clearfork after all its a team we have only lost to 1 time. Oh that 1 time was when we made it to the state semifinals. Not just a loss but a 33-0 pounding! You can take this post however you wish as I am sure most of you will view it as me being negative but really it is sad when we are guessing whether or not we can play with a 2 win Clearfork team! Hopefully this is not the direction this program is going!!!

Not indicative of anything but reality. When was the last time the DR panel picked us to win a game? Triway? And it's proven to be accurate as much as we don't like it.

Every team in the OCC has taken huge steps forward this season with the exception of CF & Woo & you can argue Woo is at least headed there.

Not indicative of the kids effort nor the coaches abilities. Is it perfect, no...but it wasn't last year or the year before that....and on & on.

Winning covers the flaws & losing exposes them. Doesn't mean we all can't still support the team.

The seniors deserve a win Friday night...but CF isn't going to lay down for us.

CF is always hungry to beat Orrville. They look up to Orrville and will always get CF's best effort.

They're fighting to not lose to 2 teams with a not much better record then theirs and of course, to not lose to their much-hated rival, Wooster.

What, they weren't playing for pride in the 8 games prior?

Wow Troll, it must be a chore to be so negative, I bet if you lived in the time of Jesus, and you were Lazarus, upon being raised from the dead, you would ask what took you so long.

how the hell am I being so negative by simply stating my opinion. I know it's because it's not the same as yours. well the fact is I don't think we will score enough points to beat Wooster. it's not like we're averaging 21 a game, when you can't score it's hard to win games. I am only stating the obvious, Wooster scores points we don't. By the way please don't joke about my Lord and Savior.
