RedRider1Congrats West Holmes..35-7 winner over an overrated Steubenville team. Good or bad, always nice to see that fanbase take a heaping of humble pie.
Been quite a while since a team outside of Massillon or Ursuline can say they beat Steubenville that bad. -

that makes this area 2-0 against Steubenville in the playoffs think Wooster beat them the year they went to final four.RedRider1;1317597 wrote:Congrats West Holmes..35-7 winner over an overrated Steubenville team. Good or bad, always nice to see that fanbase take a heaping of humble pie.

sanitizerI will quote a great sales manager I once knew. When going over my numbers for the year to "help" me understand my annual bonus, "Don't confuse this S%$^ with math man"! Or the greatest one "figures lie and liars figure"??? Needless to say he didn't last long. But the "facts don't matter" comment made me think of him!!!
Great win WH and awesome win for the bobcats. I love to see any small town teams from the area getting wins in the playoffs (wish it was us) but we have had pleanty to be proud of in that respect. Next FEW years for Norwayne should be telling for sure. Any success local teams can get brings more notice to the area and that is always a good thing! -
RedRider1Mason Monheim named freshman of the week in the Big10 for the 2nd time this year. Had 15 tackles. I'm sure he'd trade them all for a few more wins.

Once again Red Rider Nation you have out done yourself, we are getting accustom to you dogging our coach (your right to do so), but your comments on the so called Junior leaders totally uncalled for, wow kick the kids before they have a chance to be captains, you are a real peach, I wonder if some yahoo treats your kids the way you treat others, how would that sit with you, wouldn’t that be poetic justice. I don’t know how parents that have seniors or juniors can take you; they surly have more patients then me.Red Rider Nation;1315502 wrote:Well at least someone is getting some use out of it-maybe our so called "junior" leaders can go watch and learn a thing or two. Maybe Davault can go also I am sure he can take a page or 2 out of Joe Harbour's book -
rrfanCongrats to WH for caring on the conference good luck next week too.

Dude, grammar and spelling lessons would really help in your rantings! Do you really want to brag about being an Orrville City schools graduate?REDRIDER555;1318629 wrote:Once again Red Rider Nation you have out done yourself, we are getting accustom to you dogging our coach (your right to do so), but your comments on the so called Junior leaders totally uncalled for, wow kick the kids before they have a chance to be captains, you are a real peach, I wonder if some yahoo treats your kids the way you treat others, how would that sit with you, wouldn’t that be poetic justice. Cry to someone who will listen! Your son should have been there watching. Get a chance to watch a playoff team on your turf??? You betcha! I meant every word of it and I am not kicking anyone when they are down. Don't like it don't read it! Again don't cry to me!!!REDRIDER555;1318629 wrote:Once again Red Rider Nation you have out done yourself, we are getting accustom to you dogging our coach (your right to do so), but your comments on the so called Junior leaders totally uncalled for, wow kick the kids before they have a chance to be captains, you are a real peach, I wonder if some yahoo treats your kids the way you treat others, how would that sit with you, wouldn’t that be poetic justice. What's wrong with that? As of now they are so called leaders! Nobody is passing any judgement!!! -
AllOhio"Red Rider Nation" seems to admire Coach Harbour. Will you still be on that bandwagon when he has a bad season? Because, eventually that will happen. I'll bet you were on Coach D's bandwagon a couple years ago! There's some judgement for you.

sanitizerCome on fellas, there is sure a way to share ones opinion without being offensive to others. I understand everyone’s frustration but there is a difference between hitting a drum and BANGING a drum? LOL, perhaps there is some "potential" leaders in this Jr. Class but only time will tell. It is clear to me that kids have changed to the point of not letting them know who the captains are for fear of those nominated loafing and no showing to the weight room!! To me this says a lot! Now that the season is over I am hearing story after story of how some of these players conducted themselves (even seniors) in the locker room and on the field...... WOW and WOW. I have said it before and I will say (type) it again, this all seems like the perfect storm.... less than the usual talent level, players (some) that are apathetic about winning and losing (if you don't invest very much winning doesn't taste that sweet and loosing isn't so bad), a system that may have been more than the kids could operate effectively, a highly competitive conference and a coaching staff that may have been scratching their heads trying to figure out how all this can be happening in a town rich with pride and tradition like Orrville. I watched a sporting even a few years ago, watched O town get handed a loss and then watched the kids go off and laugh and skip around kicking a soccer ball like they just didn't care?????? Lots if things are changing in this world and perhaps the Ville just isn't immune anymore? BUT I will never give up on these kids and what being a Red Rider means.... Just isn't in me to quit, and I won't on these coaches, players or my old community. I can have my opinion about what I see but until I put my free time (as a volunteer or assistant) and see what happens every day it is kind of like trying to figure out an algebra problem without all the variables, coefficients and constants. I might get lucky but in most cases it just won't add up or tell the entire story? I think at the end of it all we just struggle to see a program that is so much a part of making many of us the men we are struggle like this. None of my success in life comes from a superior intellect (although I may like to think so sometimes, LOL) but from knowing how to OUTWORK my opponent or anyone in my way. I learned that from the football field, the hardwood and track at Orrville High School. Any one of us that has ever put on that uniform would strap them on again in a heartbeat to help this program and our town. But we, the coaches nor the community can play the game for them, just doesn’t work that way. It is my hope that these young men (specifically the captains) can step back and take a look at who they are and what they want being a Red Rider to mean in 2013 and simply DEMAND that from everyone. You do that by setting a standard yourself! Start with that and we can’t go wrong. I’m off my box now, sorry guys!

You didn't hear nor read about me complaining.rrfan;1318778 wrote:series being productive as usual. I don't care about grammar/spelling on here. I just type what I want so go away. With that said, you obviously needto learn reading comprehension also! You should care about your grammar and spelling as much as you care about athletics. Some mentor you are! -

Since grammar/spelling seems to be the flavor of the week...I'll join in.Series62;1319386 wrote:You didn't hear nor read about me complaining.

...."needto" is not a word. -
Red Rider Nation
Let me clue you in. I have never been on Davaults bandwagon! I most likely never will be. Yes he has won with some pretty amazing talent but when the talent slides so does he. Discipline also is at an all time low in Orrville. The guy gets an out in Orrville because he does so much for the community. I say great then run for mayor! Great community guys are not necessarily great football coaches. As far as Harbour goes yes I am sure somewhere he will have a bad year but I am sure he will ALWAYS get the best out of what he has. Something Davault does not!AllOhio;1319299 wrote:"Red Rider Nation" seems to admire Coach Harbour. Will you still be on that bandwagon when he has a bad season? Because, eventually that will happen. You're correct, it isn't a word, it was a typing error as I didn't press the "space bar" nor did I proofread before hitting "enter". However, I do care about my grammar and spelling. However, as you can tell, they didn't realize there was errors.RedRider1;1319428 wrote:Since grammar/spelling seems to be the flavor of the week...I'll join in.

Where were you then? That's right, they're your buds, you can't point that out to them as it would be negative! LOL! -

You chose to point out others' mistakes....I chose to point out yours. We're all prone to mistakes from time to time....but it shouldn't take away from the content or the merit of any post.Series62;1319580 wrote:You're correct, it isn't a word, it was a typing error as I didn't press the "space bar" nor did I proofread before hitting "enter". Since were on the English 101 kick...I think the right thing to say was "there were errors" or "there was an error". Not "there was errors"....BRF am I correct?Series62;1319580 wrote:You're correct, it isn't a word, it was a typing error as I didn't press the "space bar" nor did I proofread before hitting "enter". There is a difference between mistakes and obvious poor spelling and grammar. Especially when it is continuous in a majority of one's posts.RedRider1;1319623 wrote:You chose to point out others' mistakes....I chose to point out yours. rr-1, you have a tendency to be selective on your correction efforts. -

Just keeping things in check! LOL. I think we can all admit that the grammer on this entire site is about as good as this football season went!Series62;1319703 wrote:Touche' "Old R"!
