Steubenville Big Red 2010

ManO'WarHe was listed as a wr/db for PCC, so maybe he WANTS to play QB, but I don't know how much he has played in the past.
His brother played for Harding Middle School last year as a QB/WR. -

I was also wondering if anyone else had any info on this.FairwoodKing wrote: Has anyone heard anything new about the renovations to the stadium? I don't see how they would have enough time to rebuild the entire home section and add an extended pressbox. I would also like to know what the cost would be. -
Al CaponeBig Red getting a player from another state? Cant be!!!

I'm sure they will announce it soon, but the renovations will be gradual. -
Al Capone
I was thinking he would attend a catholic school in the area.ManO'War wrote: His parents and grandparents are involved with Franciscan, so where else is he supposed to go?? -
ManO'WarEvidentally, if you read the posts on various message boards, CCHS and FUS are not exactly on the same page. But like I said, his brother has already been at Harding for a year, so it makes sense that they would attend the same school.

According to the Herald Star, the school board is paying a company to rip out the seats. How gradual can that be?ManO'War wrote:bigman91 wrote:

ManO'WarNot all at once.

The aisles have to be widened to accommodate hand rails. This will require removing some seating along the aisles; probably one end seat on both sides of the aisles for each row. This has been talked about for some time.FairwoodKing wrote:

What I'd like to see is padding along the fence on the south side; too big a chance of a serious injury occurring there.

QuakerOatsRed and Salem to compete in a 7 v. 7 this summer ----- renewing old acquaintances.

Strapping Young Lad
As long as he doesn't get in trouble hanging out in the women's restroom like other QB's from Pittsburgh he'll be just fine.....Al Capone wrote: Big Red getting a player from another state? Cant be!!! -
The BearAlso heard that a new freshmen (now 8th grade), has transferred from and a local area school to Harding, heard that he also has played QB and is a pretty good athelete. Any Truth?

snyds113fairwood I have heard from 2 different people that big red has picked up a team from PA. that Alter had some trouble with a few years back. They could not however remember the name of the school.

I hope the game is in week 3 and not week 9. I would hate to see us play three powerhouses in a row like we did last year. Besides, the first half of our schedule needs a little more beef.snyds113 wrote: fairwood I have heard from 2 different people that big red has picked up a team from PA. that Alter had some trouble with a few years back. They could not however remember the name of the school. -
ManO'WarWeek 4 is the open date in question.

Reno said on TV back in November that week 4 was open. That is when we almost always played St. Joe's. Brooke also had that week open. I have heard that we will play Brooke this year. I just put two and two together and assumed it would be week 4.ManO'War wrote: Week 4 is the open date in question. -
ManO'WarEast Liverpool is gone from week 3.
