Better put my reading glasses on before I type. Guess I just got ahead of myself and put in their season final record!
  • OQB
Well is this the year Dover gets over the hump?

If it is suppose to rain I would favor Big Red.

    Good luck to both schools!

I'm picking dover, because of Stuby's 0 and 2 record vs Ohio.

Game is Saturday night. D III plays Saturday this year I believe.

/\ /\ /\ Unwarranted? You sure about that? Looks like we may need another 'poll' thread!!!

    Big Red by a bunch.
  • sonofsam
Head says Big Red, but my heart wishes Dover would pound them into submission so bad that we can all listen to Big Red fans make excuses of why they are not as good as they think they are.

Give it up. Envy is a sin. It doesn't hurt us that you hate us. It only hurts your heart.

Best of luck to your Redskins next year and beyond.

    ROLL RED ROLL!!!

    ROLL RED ROLL!!!

Its not envy... I love how you guys always resort to "envy"... Your posters made hatred a reality. I pray for the day Reno retires... When that happens, welcome to reality and welcome to the "humbleness" that Big Red so desperately preaches. Wake up and sniff the beans brother... You keep taking our athletes but sooner or later they are going to stay right where they are and throw it back at you. You can only hate so long and Mingo and Wintersville are coming around. What are you doing beside dwelling on your 2005/2006 dream seasons? Playoffs yes, state champs, hahaha.

Best of luck to you also, your still a valley team...
  • Mr. 300
If Dover has any chance, it's this year, but I'll take the Big Red against Dover. Playing in Death Valley will be enough to give Stinkerville the edge.
  • snyds113
RollRedRoll!!Would of loved to see Edison make the trip due to the stadium erupting in cheers when the Massillon score was announced.Dover will be a good game to watch. So good luck Dover and RollRedRoll. The RED wins this by 20.
  • finster4307
The game will be played in Death Valley...sorry Dover.

WHS/ICHS...can't think of anything nice to say so...

    WE ARE BIG RED!

Glad you showed up in week 11 SOS. I like how in YOUR IC 2010 final season post you listed everything under the sun as to why you ended up 6-4 lol

"What are you doing beside dwelling on your 2005/2006 dream seasons?"....Well let me dwell on it for a moment.....ummmm let's see, we played for a Regional Championship in 07', played for a State Championship in 08', we were a State Semi-Finalist in 09' and well, will see where 2010 takes us.
The eye of our past is filled with memorable moments that we remember while adding to the tradition that is..... BIG RED FOOTBALL.

So sit back and take some notes. Cause IC got that "mathematically eliminated" thing down pat. Just go back on the chop and talk about next years installment of the "IC Underachievers" and predict a record of no worse than 7-3, no wait...more likely 8-2, possibly 9-1 or maybe a "DREAM SEASON" of 10-0. lol

Then when the season is done and the teams handing in their equipment. You can post on a forum a list of all the excuses as to WHY YOU STUNK:

    1. Starting linebacker quit right before the season started.
    2. Another went down and out for the season during a passing scrimmage right before the regular season started.
    3. That shook up the defensive side of the ball significantly.
    4. In week 2 we lost one of our best DB/WRs for the season with a neck injury.
    5. Our best TE nursed an injured ankle all season long.
    6. Had a starting O lineman out EVERY game this season. (Cue the violins)
    7. Alex Young had a injured wrist.
    8. The flu/sickness hit us hard.
    9. We are a VERY young team.
    10. Lacked experience.
    11. Lacked heart.
    12. It was hot early in the season.
    13. It rained at times.
    14. Then it got chilly.
    15. If it's not Big Red whooping are skins, it's the Bellaire Big Reds doing it.
    16. Star player got mono.
    17. Bus ride to Oak Glen was too long.
    18. Parents need to toughen up their kids.
    19. Hard to obtain the lofty goals set by SOS.
    20. WE STUNK.
  • Dover
Can we stop the "we", "us", "you" and realize that while we support our schools team(s) it's the kids who play the game and the kids that win or lose. The whole vicarious living thing is really quite sad, and it really is just a game. While it's a lot of fun to support the boys and hope for their victory, reality is that no matter the outcome the earth will continue to rotate when we wake up Sunday morning.

The game I was at that night, both sides erupted when the Massillon score was announced. Alot of Massillon fans in the valley that weekend.

Hard to say. B.R.'s weakness seems to be pass defense and the gadget plays; both strong points with Dover. But, we are getting healthy again.

When Coshocton went into Dover Week a couple of weeks ago I thought the same thing. Problem is Dover cleaned our clocks as usual.

I'd love to see Dover beat Steubenville but Big Red has Dover's number the same way Dover has Coshocton's.

    Steubenville 28
    Dover 17
