Sunday: Boston Celtics at Cleveland Cavs

And they just allowed Andy to be standing with 1 foot out of bounds and still make a pass to Bron....

Bad officiating both ways, which seems to be the norm in the League nowadays...

The Celtics bigs do NOT ever box out, they always face guard and it's because they hold every time--nice to see them get called for it today.

    Atta boy Leon.
  • wildcats20
Perkins is the worst at it too, he gets his forearms up high and into the other players throat area.
  • SQ_Crazies
Yeah Perkins is just violent with it--KG is the dirtiest though.
  • wildcats20
    Right.

    LOL at Andy
  • SQ_Crazies
    WHATTTTTTTTTTTT?!

    That's a flop?!

LOL @ anyone who thinks that's a flop.
  • wildcats20
I don't know if it was a flop, but he certainly wasn't hit THAT hard...
  • SQ_Crazies
Are you kidding me? It wasn't the hip, it was the shoulder. That's a 300 pound man lol.
  • SQ_Crazies
I'm not saying it should have been a foul, but it sure a shit wasn't a flop.
  • wildcats20
    Right.

90% of the time that people say Andy flops, he doesn't flop. So I'm not surprised that was the reaction--it's just the popular thing to say. People see him on the floor a lot, but for whatever reason they don't pay any attention to how he got there--he just flopped.

    Its the hair.

That certainly wasn't a flop... and Davis probably outweights Andy by at least 100 pounds... he discretely threw his body into Andy... of course he's going to go down.

"a darn good team" "they're very good"

Wrong JVG, they were 2 years ago.

The "Bostonian" said there was no way the Cavs could win this game, since Boston was healthy...lol
  • SQ_Crazies
LeBron's weight is a secret because he really weighs 300 pounds, he just doesn't want anyone to know.

Nobody believes the Cavs are much improved from last year--they all just want to believe it'll end the same way. That's fine, I like being able to have the best record and still fly under the radar.

Cavs move to 8-1 with Jamison in the line up.

    Jamison gets another double-double..

I expected him to struggle with his shot a bit today, since he's missed almost a week of action..

The only thing I have to gripe about Antawn is his FT shooting.. WTF has happened? He was a 75% career FT shooter... With Cleveland he's a 47% FT shooter.. And it's not jsut him, the rest of the team has slacked at the line as well.. (well, outside of Mo and AP for the most part)..

I did see a thing the other day though that the last few champions were all bad FT shooting teams.

Either way, great win by the Cavs. Boston is done. kthnxbai

Jamison's FT shooting is a legit gripe--but I think it'll come around. His recent slump is really a statistical oddity, it'll work it's way back up.
  • hoops23
I think after his initial struggle at the line since coming here, he's put more pressure on himself. He needs to clear his head while at the line if that's the case and just focus on hitting his ft's..

I never really felt like the Cavs were in danger of losing this game. I know that it was close for awhile but I always felt that the Cavs could turn it on at anytime.

I think that Ainge will start breaking it up in the offseason. I just can't see them making a push this year and next year could get ugly.
  • hoops23
Yeah, I could see Ray Allen dealt in the offseason..

Unfortunately for Ainge, just about everybody else has terrible contracts. Sheed for 2 more years after this season? WTF?

They sold out and won a title--then they made the mistake of trying to get more out of it than they were ever going to and they sold out even more. Now they're screwed. Should have just taken their title and been happy, now they're going waste some great years of Rondo's career.
