If this is all he gets, Keselowski should fuck him up whenever he gets a chance. This is bullshit.
I'm telling you this, if the tables were turned and Carl were the one wrecked when he had a chance to win, Keselowski would be parked. NASCAR is as hypocritical as anything I've ever seen. Just tell us exactly why this was handled this way, don't say this bullshit about Carl didn't know the car would go airborn. He knew he was taking BK out of contention, that's the point. The wreck earlier in the race was as much CE's fault as BK's so this act was totally heinous in my book regardless of the outcome.
See Talladega last year. Last lap for the win (BK's only) Carl goes airborn and into the fence seriously injuring some fans. This may have played a role in Carls thinking. -

^^ Kurt Busch press conference today. ^^
They are just getting started in Gainesville, Florida at the NHRA Gatornationals. Rain washed out Thurs. and delayed Friday until 4:00pm.
Should be perfect, upper 60's this weekend. -
SpeedofsandJust watched Nascar now on ESPN2, live from the Talladega test. I think I heard them say 210mph in the draft ! They have used 3 different plates and 2 or 3 different spoilers. John Darby said the first plate was too big today...1 1/32 inches or 66/64ths.
Next week they expect 50 cars at Charlotte for the final test. Looks like Martinsville could be a spoiler race. -
ts1227Spoiler is officially returning at Martinsville.

SpeedofsandKasey Kahne went from Bristol to Bulls Gap and is racing a World of Outlaws sprint car tonite. He set a track record in qualifying.
-
SpeedofsandKahne got spun, but the 2 other cars he owns finished 1st (Joey Saldana) and 4th last night.
Today's Nationwide race is on ABC at 2:30
ESPN2 will show the old timers race at 5:30
Drivers scheduled to run the race are David Pearson, Larry Pearson, Harry Gant, Rick Wilson, Cale Yarborough, Charlie Glotzbach, Dave Marcis, Tommy Houston, L.D. Ottinger, Jack Ingram, Phil Parsons and Jimmy Hensley.
Bristol Speedway link -
Speedofsand1-2 finish for Penske as Justin Allgaier nabs his first win holding off Brad Keselowski. Harvick wrecked Logano on the last lap and was a jerk about it on tv afterward. Too many punks behind the wheel these days.
Legends are on now, I'll pick the skoal bandit to win. -
SpeedofsandThe old guys were in USAR late models, going faster than the Nationwide cars !
Cale's car took a shit, then Harry's took a shit.
Larry Pearson wrecked and got T-boned by Charlie Glotzbach in the driver's door. They were both knocked out. Charlie was helped away, but Larry was still knocked out and they had to cut the roll bars to get him out with a backboard. This was one bad scary crash.
They will have 5 laps to go when they put the red flag away. -
GoChiefsHuge wreck in the old timers race..I bet this is the last time they have this race. Larry Pearson spun and went into the wall..nothing serious..his car slowly drifted down the track and Charlie Glotzbach t-boned him in the drivers door at full speed. It looked like he never even seen him wreck, as they don't have spotters. Both drivers were knocked unconscious. Glotzbach got out on his own with some assistance. Pearson had to be cut out of the car and taken off to the hospital on a backboard. His son said he finally regained consciousness and was able to move his hands. Hope for the best for the old guy..it did not look good at all.
-
GoChiefsDavid Pearson withdrew from the race and is on his way to the hospital to be with his son.
-
GoChiefsIs there a more arrogant guy in NASCAR than Cale? LOL
-
GoChiefsRick Wilson takes the checkered flag. Phil Parsons, L.D. Ottinger, Jack Ingram, & Tommy Houston round out the Top 5.
-
GoChiefsSounds like Edwards & Keselowski patched things up

On another note...as speed already mentioned...another feud to watch tomorrow. Harvick & Logano. Harvick dumped Logano on the final turn of the last lap to knock Joey from 4th to 14th. Harvick was a complete dick about it..and Joey didn't want to talk to the cameras. As he was walking away..you could tell he was pissed though. As the announcers said..they are going to keep picking on him until he picks back and proves he won't take shit from nobody on the track. Maybe tomorrow could be that day! Would love to see Joey payback Havoc. -
SpeedofsandThat is the first time I EVER saw Rick Wilson win, and he is from Bartow, Fl. He used to race at New Smyrna. I also saw him spin by himself 3 times in 1 race at Daytona.
I hope Larry is ok. They later said the guys did have spotters, but there is just no time to react at Bristol.
Larry has to be more injured than they let on, Dr. Jerry Punch used to live here too in Indigo Lakes. He was in charge of the hospital E.R. in Bunnell where Mardy Gilyard is from. -
GoChiefs
I think he was more injured as well..knowing David..I don't think he would have quit the race otherwise. I didn't hear they had spotters..I was wondering why they would run without them..that would be dumb..but like Rusty mentioned..on tracks like that..when you see a car go high..u know he's going to come back down the track..so you just speed up and go low and try to beat him. It looked like that was what Charlie was trying to do.Speedofsand wrote: That is the first time I EVER saw Rick Wilson win, and he is from Bartow, Fl. He used to race at New Smyrna. -
j_crazykurt needs to quit taking 4 tires on the last caution. it fucked him in daytona, and cost him a win and 2 spots here. i couldn't have said it better than kurt after the race. "any of the other 41 cars out there..."
i really fucking hate JJ. -
GoChiefsQualifying rained out yesterday..lineup set by points.
Here's a look at the new car.

Al CaponeJimmy Johnson was quoted that after he wins his 6th championship he was going to paint his car black and gold in honor of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
