I still don't think they'd make the WCF. Harden, Paul, and Melo are in that group that (to me) won't ever take the next step until they actually do.

No thanks on any trade in which Wiggins is the best player we receive. He is average.

I'm kind of in the same boat here. When he was coming out in the draft, I heard all of this talk about how he was a really good defender? Not the case. Unless the Cavs are looking for pure scorers with no defense?

    Really don't care.

Is anyone else concerned that the Cavs may end up settling for a not so great haul for Kyrie? Not that I wanted him but Minnesota has said they won't include Wiggins in a deal. Phoenix has given the impression that they won't include Jackson. Melo (again no big deal) is saying Houston only.

Normally, I have the mindset "you're under contract.....if we don't want to trade you, we won't" but it seems like Kyrie is intentionally trying to do things to piss off the organization so they almost have to move him. I'm also pretty skeptical that he's going to be able to patch things up with Lebron.

Unless a three team deal surfaces, it doesn't seem like there's a whole lot of value out there to get back for KI. I'm concerned they are going to settle for a crappy Paul George type deal just to be rid of him.

    From the Score app.

Report: Kyrie Irving won't commit to any team that trades for him.

    WTF is this guy's deal?

Pulling a Lebron. Figured something like this was coming. If he wants to play for either NYK's or Minnesota (to be with Butler), he's likely just going to move on after playing out his 2 years. One thing a team has going for it, in his case, is that they have 2 years to prove it to him that he should stay.

    Same.

No, but it doesn't shock me in the least that he wouldn't act like a man and admit what he was doing.

I could be sold but also....I hate every single non basketball playing story. The NBA is so damn dramatic.

Shit, I'm more entertained by the NBA now than ever. Every single story is teen girl drama!

Cavs saying no set time frame to move Kyrie and if they don't find a deal they "love", he'll start the season as a Cav.

Good. I am glad they are approaching this sensibly. They have all the leverage, there is no need to make a knee jerk trade.

NVM, I found it. The East got worst, yet the Cavs with 3 stars (Kyrie is still on the roster) won't make the playoffs? LOL

You could put Lebron on a team with any other 11 players in the NBA and he could make the playoffs.
  • friendfromlowry
Half the teams in the league aren't even trying to make the playoffs this year.
