Laley23Like I said on the last signing of Jackson, this just points to Brantley never really contributing again. I hope that isn't the case, but Tribe is going after guys that sure point in that direction.

It could be more of an insurance thing as well. I wouldn't mind starting utley at 3rd and Jose in left to start the season to give Brantley some more timeLaley23;1836188 wrote:Like I said on the last signing of Jackson, this just points to Brantley never really contributing again. My worry is...why does he need more time? Why has this process taken so damn long? I fear Jonah Keri is right, and his injury was career threatening and the Tribe simply wont say that/ Instead, they just keep delayed it, and he keeps having MAJOR setbacks. Its pretty abnormal...Crimson streak;1836227 wrote:It could be more of an insurance thing as well. I definitely agree with that. Such a shame too if it is indeed the case. First Sizemore, then hafner, and hopefully not BrantleyLaley23;1836241 wrote:My worry is...why does he need more time? I always thought Hafner and Grady's body breakdown was due to roidsCrimson streak;1836267 wrote:I definitely agree with that. Such a shame too if it is indeed the case. First Sizemore, then hafner, and hopefully not Brantley

Hafner for sure.Benny The Jet;1836443 wrote:I always thought Hafner and Grady's body breakdown was due to roids -
Commander of AwesomeI loved Pronk, up there as my favorite tribe player of all time outside of Belle and Wickman. Cool Story Alert: Pronk was dating a cheerleader of Baldwin Wallace College while I was in HS and saw him on Campus a couple of times. He acknowledged me when I said "Hey Pronk" while walking by him.

TBone14Vegas win totals are out. These can adjust but the openers:
AL Central OV/UN
Indians 92.5
Tigers 85.5
Royals 80.5
White Sox 73.5
Twins 70.5
Indians were tops in AL.
Boston 90.5
Toronto and Texas 86.5
Over the NL- Cubs 95.5, Nats 90.5 and Mets 89.5 were the top 3. -

I'm not a fan of Bauer's...at all. I'd be ok if they traded him. I used to follow him on Twitter, he acts like a 14 teenager. Side story: We have a family friend who works pretty closely with the Indians...said Bauer is a giant tool pretty much. All about himself. When they approached him to do a team signing, he pretty tells them to F off, he's got better things to do.Sonofanump;1836514 wrote:http://www.cleveland.com/tribe/index.ssf/2017/02/cleveland_indians_pitcher_trev_7.html#incart_river_index
Trevor being Trevor.
And he's also not that great of a pitcher. -

Baseball prospectus, if you trust them, has RADICALLY different numbers.TBone14;1836603 wrote:Vegas win totals are out. These can adjust but the openers:

Tribe tops in central. But then, I think, Twins, Tigers, Sox, Royals -

He did the tribe thing over the winter. I'm not defending him and I follow on twitter, but I think he gets a bad rap. He is a nerdy douche, but he trains hard as fuck and wants to win baseball games. I'm not mad bout that.Benny The Jet;1836619 wrote:I'm not a fan of Bauer's...at all. I'd be ok if they traded him. I used to follow him on Twitter, he acts like a 14 teenager. How was Houston not above Texas? -

yeah... agree with that. Some guys are just " characters"... and baseball has never had a shortage of them. As long as they don't disrupt team chemistry.iclfan2;1836656 wrote:He did the tribe thing over the winter. I'm not defending him and I follow on twitter, but I think he gets a bad rap. Benny The Jet1 of the things that bothers me about his training, is he's always so concerned about increasing his velocity. Paying videos of how hard he's throwing. Hammy even commented on it back at the beginning of last season. Saying the team's told him they don't care about lighting up the radar gun, they want to see better control. Which has been his main problem his whole career. Saw some post last night "Bauer has as much control over his Twitter as he does his pitches". Thought that was pretty accurate

iclfan2100% agree with you there.

Face-wise? They both have the default "whatever" expression at all times, it seems. You could photoshop a cig into his mouth and it'd fit as well as it does with Cutler.Ironman92;1836704 wrote:Bauer reminds me of Jay Cutler for whatever reason -

I have a problem with him being a dumb ass before postseason games. He put the team in a tough position because of his stupid actions.iclfan2;1836656 wrote:He did the tribe thing over the winter.
