Browns vs Steelers

I've got 10 grand that says a) Johnny doesn't end up in Dallas this offseason and B) if he does he won't be the starting QB *unless an injury to Romo* and C) they won't make the playoffs for 5 consecutive years.Footwedge;1762845 wrote:
Good bye Johnny...you will be much happier in Dallas leading the Cowboys to the playoffs for the next 5 years. -
AutomatikManziel isn't going to make it in the NFL, just doesn't have it upstairs.

lhslep134The footwedge butthurt is real, and it's spectacular.
-
BR1986FBIf the Browns released Manziel, I'm sure somebody would take a chance on him but most would say "pass, don't want the headache and all that comes with it." He's a very polarizing figure but he's brought most of it on himself. He's essentially another Tebow (maybe not skillset-wise), minus the Bible thumping.

You can almost change "footwedge" to "JFF jock sniffers" because the Manziel apologists have more excuses......lhslep134;1762874 wrote:The footwedge butthurt is real, and it's spectacular. -

Other than FW and Iggy, who's really on his side? Everyone I know has given up, even my dumbass friend who bought his jersey on draft day. -
Laley23The best part will be when Wedge uses the excuse of "...got run out of town and scared off every other NFL team from giving him a chance" for the next 20 years.

You'd have to be in the Cleveland area to see/hear it. I got caught up in the hype after they drafted him (didn't really want him before the draft) but learned quickly it wasn't happening. They have nothing to base his potential success on other than the fact he's "Johnny Football" and he "did it in college." Even Iggy is starting to leave the JFF bandwagon.Automatik;1762882 wrote:Who are these people?

The guy who wrote that piece on SB Nation was on the radio yesterday and said he thinks JFF can make it "eventually" but is nowhere near close to being ready to start. When JFF is in there, their best reliable receiving weapon (Barnidge) disappears. Benjamin is his favorite because he can be the recipient of "Johnny Football-type" plays.
I think his "window" will close as a potential starter and he'll either go the way of a Colt McCoy/Charlie Frye type (career backup) IF he's that lucky or will have to recreate himself in the CFL. -

My favorite Tebow excuse, that even some of my smart friends still use.Laley23;1762884 wrote:The best part will be when Wedge uses the excuse of "...got run out of town and scared off every other NFL team from giving him a chance" for the next 20 years. -

When smart people do that it knocks them down a notch for me...though as I get older the smarter ones are saying dumber things more often.like_that;1762905 wrote:My favorite Tebow excuse, that even some of my smart friends still use. -

My roommate is an attorney and he started to use the excuse, but I just cut him off. It's just such a dumb ass argument. The NFL has a clear shortage of serviceable QBs. No team (let alone all 32) is going to turn down a serviceable QB, because they are out to get him.Ironman92;1762910 wrote:When smart people do that it knocks them down a notch for me...though as I get older the smarter ones are saying dumber things more often.
If you can play, you will be on a roster. Ray Rice and Greg Hardy are perfect examples of that. Both have baggage, but one can still play and the other actually sucked ass (at a dime a dozen position). We all know which one is on a roster. -
BR1986FBThis is obviously an opinion piece. I think the guy is overrated but this is the first time I've even heard anything like this mentioned....

This is one of this pile of the Browns article, because things are going really badly. We wouldn't see this if the Browns were competitive this year.BR1986FB;1762933 wrote:This is obviously an opinion piece. BR1986FBWell, well, well....sounding more & more like TheRapist is going to play on Sunday. Does this shock any Browns fans? "OMG.....I need my foot amputated !!! (comes out for the second half)

AutomatikLink?
lol, you're probably the only one with that line of thinking. Are you never NOT fucking miserable? -
Commander of Awesome
Oh come off of it Auto. Rapistfucker is a dramtic cry baby with injuries, more so than Lebron or Paul Pierce. As for him playing, just read twitter, thanks.Automatik;1762967 wrote:Link?

like_thatI see him listed as questionable still, but I am with BR on this one. He is one of the most dramatic when it comes to injuries. How many times has he acted like he just suffered a season ending injury only for him to come back as little as a couple plays. ZOMG my ankle, please bring me 5 people to carry me off the field because I am fat!! Can't wait for him to play and the announcers to talk about how tough he is though!

And you do? Manziel scored about as high as you can on the IQ test the NFL uses. Butdon't let facts get in the way.Automatik;1762870 wrote:Manziel isn't going to make it in the NFL, just doesn't have it upstairs.
On the Tony Jizzo show today, someone called in to remind Jizzo that "his boy" Derek Carr got shellacked last year in a game 52-0...to which Jizzo said "you people don't understand that it takes a rookie 2 years to develop" Bwahahahaha. His boy gets 2 years...Manziel doesn't get 2 weeks. See how that works?
Manziel is a lot better right now than Derek Carr is...even after playing for 19 weeks.
But...but...but all 22 says......LMAO. -
BR1986FBArticle said he practice for the second day in a row and will be a "game time decision" which means he'll likely go.
Joe Dirt has a history of milking these things. As COA & like_that said, this isn't his first rodeo being an overly dramatic vagina.
Case in point, it was either a Thursday or Monday Night game a few years back where he injured his foot against the Browns. The way he walked on it and the way the announcers played it up, you would've thought amputation was a given. But then, what's this? The Lord of the Burger King bathroom rises like a phoenix and comes to save the day in the second half when there wasn't a chance it Hell a mere mortal could've come back from that. Well, I'm surprised they didn't have to take him back behind the shed and put him down like Old Yeller. -
BR1986FB
Again, here's your faulty logic. Guys like Carr, Bridgewater, even Mariota & Winston this year, look like they "get it" and can be NFL QB's moving forward. Manziel does NOT.Footwedge;1762977 wrote:And you do? Manziel scored about as high as you can on the IQ test the NFL uses. Butdon't let facts get in the way.

I do agree, the announcers played it up a ton during the times of the revolving door O-line.
On the fence about him playing. I think they can win with Jones, but a loss and they are fucked. -
like_thatI'd rather rapistberger play. The only thing that can bring a smile to my face this season would be the Browns further injuring rapistberger.
-
SportsAndLadyI do agree with my fellow Browns fans about roeth being way over dramatic with injuries.
Every game you think he just suffered a season ending injury. Then he's fine.
And then to make it worse the announcers cram down your throats how tough he is.

32 out of 50 is hardly "scored about as high as you can." I'll type this slowly, since it will probably blow your mind. When something is out of 50, you can double it to convert it to a percent. So, 32 out of 50 is 64%. He can't even read a defense, so the wonderlic score doesn't really matter.
