Browns at Bengals

Why I made my comment is that this team is probably going to be hurting, going forward. The O-Line, which we all thought was going to be a strength, will have a one year older JT (and yes, his play will start to slip), Bitonio (who is solid), Mack will be gone, RG is going to be wide open and Schwartz is "so so" and I think a FA.

QB & RB, on offense are still a question.

On defense, there's not a single player I consider an "impact/stud." At one time, I thought that was Haden. Not anymore.

This is likely going to be a total blowup.
Gordon would have opened it up for those guys imo, but we will never know. As for your assessment on the line, you can't be any more wrong. According to PFF JT is still the highest rated tackle in the league, and if whitworth can play at a high level at the age of 34, I don't see why JT can't. Bitonio and Greco are playing at an above average start level with bitonio inching toward pro bowl level. Schwartz IS playing at a pro bowl level, and Mack actually is the worst graded lineman (probably due to his slow start) playing at an average starter level. Unfortunately you can have the best line in the world, but it doesn't matter if you don't have any talent at the skill positions, especially QB. The Browns have the 2nd best line to the cowboys, and we all have seen the Cowboys struggling without romo and dez.

Can't disagree about the defense. They are a shit show right now. I don't understand how Haden went from all pro level to pile of shit in that short of time.

Well, no shit. I am just talking about after the season Gordon went off, there was optimism heading into next sesaon. Had good FA signings, Banner was gone, and it just seemed like they were finally turning the corner. ANNND then Gordon gets suspened, thus sucking the wind out of any momentum we felt.

FIFY, but other than that probably one of the few times I will ever agree with you outside of pittsburgh fans.

Better hope so, he has another 2-3 years under contract smh.

Leave it to Joe Thomas to ruin the first drive. That guy is a cancer on this team.
  • IggyPride00
Benjamin has to catch that. Hit him right in the face mask after going through his hands. Guys have to step up.

    The run defense.

Why in the world is Jim O'Neil still employed?
  • Mulva
Armonty Bryant covering Marvin Jones. LOL
  • IggyPride00
What level of failure does Pettine need to see from O'Neil before he even considers firing him?
  • iclfan2
The scheme of this defense is terrible. Eifert wide open for a td.

Zero chance of beating the Bengals if you can't pressure Dalton.....way too many weapons

    That's where I quit reading.

The same PFF that gave McCown (lit up the Ravens) and Aaron Rodgers (5 TD performance) a negative grade for the weeks I mentioned?

The same PFF who one of their "analysts" is a guy from England or Ireland, never played a down of football in his life, but became "enamored with the American game" and said the Browns had a "top 5 O-Line" and a "top 10 roster?"

PFF has pretty much lost most of their credibility with some of this nonsense.

One of the "worst" fans checking in. Who Dey. It feels good to be the team everyone in the division hates. A coworker this week who is a Pittsburgh fan is still talking about the "dirty" hit on Bell.
  • Ironman92
I don't know a single Steelers fan who thinks that hit was dirty.

BTW Barnidge is really good no missing Jordan Cameron
  • Ironman92
Good play calls this drive (thus far) for the Browns

Burfict gets a helmet shot into the back of Manziel after the tackle.

    He's a mean SOB
  • sportchampps
Haha the Steelers fan I work with thought it was dirty because of the way he through his legs up when he tackled him lol
  • sportchampps
    The 9 million dollar catch
  • BR1986FB
    Dwayne Bowe?
  • Ironman92
Shot gun him 3 times and he'll score on his own
  • Ironman92
Just a terrible and obvious 1st down call....awful
  • BR1986FB
Such an impressive drive and then piss down your leg with 1st & goal from the 4.
  • sportchampps
