Keeping him would have meant guaranteed salary and you could basically triple it with three added tax they'd be paying on it for being over the cap. Cavs really had no choice but to trade their 1st rounder.Footwedge;1737475 wrote:Don't like trading Tyus Jones for 2 bums. Ridiculous. Jones would have been a great get for this team. Whereby his outside shooting last year was only fair, he would develop into a great outside threat. Anybody that hits 89% from the line will eventually torch from outside.
This foreign guy shooting guard is a terrible free throw shooter. -

Wonder if James will sign him?Ytowngirlinfla;1737874 wrote:DWade opting out. Interesting. -
Commander of AwesomeWade CAN'T sign here, I repeat, CAN NOT unless he takes the min MLE. I highly doubt he's doing that. He's divorced and paying alimony, as an illegitimate child with another women while engaged to Gabrielle Union, etc....
Per his divorce, "Mr. Wade has provided a very generous settlement to Ms. Funches to continue to live a wonderful lifestyle for the rest of her life.Despite false allegations by Ms. Funches claiming to be “homeless” and “destitute,” Dwyane Wade has maintained over the years financial support to his ex-wife by providing her with income over $25,000 on a monthly basis, timely paid for her home mortgage, maintenance and security at the house, 4 cars , insurance, taxes and all of her attorney fees throughout this process.
Trust me, he wants paid. -
like_thatI hope Wade goes out west. Also, fuck Miami and Pat Riley.
-
Commander of AwesomeI hope he goes to Houston so we can watch Harden and Wade both flop at the same time every play anything they're breathed on by a defender chucking up garbage shot at 35% FG percentage. 2 least fav players to watch on 1 team.
-
MontyBrunswickCan't see him leaving the Heat. He doesn't have much left in the tank and they can give him the most money. He stands little to gain by leaving them.

Same. He will only get a salary above market in Miami and he wants a payday.MontyBrunswick;1737885 wrote:Can't see him leaving the Heat. He doesn't have much left in the tank and they can give him the most money. He stands little to gain by leaving them. -

Kevin Love will hit the market, but those close him insist his public statements reflect his thinking: It's highly likely he's back in CLE. -

Azubuike24Wade is worth over 100M. He's got plenty of money from investments and endorsements. Sure, he wants a bigger NBA contract, but the difference between 14M and a max deal isn't that great. I can't see any way he gets a max deal anywhere though.

He wants $16M a year which is lower than the max but still way higher than he's worth. I'd give him $10M a year max.Azubuike24;1737942 wrote:Wade is worth over 100M. Azubuike24I'd pay him max money...per game.

I don't think it sucks. Lebron wants him there and every team has junk at the end of the bench. Sure, he's not worth $2.8M but that signing doesn't really affect us in anyway.BR1986FB;1737962 wrote:Mike Holmgren Jr aka paycheck thief....(I know it was expected but still sucks)....

If we can get him for the MLE then yes. But I don't think he leaves Chicago.BR1986FB;1737966 wrote:Cavs interested in Dunleavy?
