Colts at Browns

Azubuike24Anyone have a clue how this game, between 2 AFC teams, is on FOX this weekend? Will it be with CBS announcers just being aired by FOX 28 in Columbus?

Meaningless drive? Really? You're as stupid as Shit and Ladies. That score, with 9 minutes to go, cut the lead to 10 points...a lifetime as it related to an NFL game. Try peddling you "garbage time TD" onto other idiots.se-alum;1681655 wrote:Manziel led a meaningless drive against a defense that spent no time preparing for him. How did that next drive go?? I would've been fine with them starting Manziel, but to act like he is the savior without him ever starting a game is ridiculous.
This team is still in the playoff hunt and the bald headed cocksucker decides to play the 27th ranked quarterback in the league. The Cleveland poll had over 70% of fans calling for Manziel to start over Hoyer. They need to shut off beer sales by the end of the first quarter or else it's gonna get real ugly.
This team had a great chance of making the playoffs with Manziel. They have absolutely no chance by playing the POS going Sunday. -

Everything stems from this. In the 5 games Alex Mack played, we ran for 664 yards on 140 attempts, good for 4.74 YPC and 132.8 yards per game. Hoyer's QB rating during these 5 games averaged 102.74!BR1986FB;1681613 wrote:His season went down the tubes with the Alex Mack injury. The running game has pretty much been in the toilet since. He can't feed off that play action that was helping him earlier. Now he has to throw it 30+ times a game, which is a recipe for disaster.
In our 7 games since the Mack injury, we have run for 635 yards on 213 attempts, good for 2.98 YPC and 90.71 yards per game. Hoyer's QB rating during these 7 games averages 71.44.
It all comes down to a significant injury to probably our most important offensive lineman from an intellectual standpoint. -

Try this..." there is a whole shitload of evidence that Hoyer can lose games...there is no evidence that Manziel can't win...and win right now."se-alum;1681688 wrote:There is at least evidence that Hoyer can win games, there is zero evidence that Manziel can.
This horse shit that Johhny can't play needs to stop in this town.
Fuck Pettine. -

Games can be flexed across networks with the new tv deal. The Browns/Bengals game the following Sunday has also been flexed to Fox.Azubuike24;1681697 wrote:Anyone have a clue how this game, between 2 AFC teams, is on FOX this weekend? They were leading the AFC in rushing up until Mack's injury. Pretty much says a lot of what we need to know. I think they are 12th now, which is respectable, but they aren't, as some like to say, "pwning" up front anymore.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1681703 wrote:Everything stems from this. Beginning in 2014, the NFL will also be able to "cross-flex" games between Fox and CBS, enabling CBS to televise NFC away games (including NFC vs. NFC contests), and Fox to broadcast AFC away games (including AFC vs. AFC contests).[SUP][31][/SUP][SUP][32][/SUP] The league can also "cross-flex" some of these games before the start of the season.Azubuike24;1681697 wrote:Anyone have a clue how this game, between 2 AFC teams, is on FOX this weekend? Actually a somewhat interesting wiki article. Lot more goes into televising games than I would have thought. -

Good info. Did not know that! I didnt read the article but I am assuming the networks can protect games like they do with games flexed to SNF?mucalum49;1681715 wrote:Beginning in 2014, the NFL will also be able to "cross-flex" games between Fox and CBS, enabling CBS to televise NFC away games (including NFC vs. NFC contests), and Fox to broadcast AFC away games (including AFC vs. AFC contests).[SUP][31][/SUP][SUP][32][/SUP] The league can also "cross-flex" some of these games before the start of the season.

Ironman92Not really surprised they are going with Hoyer. He'll get a half to show his worth.

Hoyer had widespread support inside the locker room. No brainer according to
players in there -
WallyThe image that has stayed with me from the Buffalo game is Manziel laying motionless on the field while Bills players are recovering his fumble in the end zone.

That was the first reason I heard as to why it was Hoyer. Players overwhelmingly wanted Hoyer.Wally;1681729 wrote:Jay Glazer ‏ @

SportsAndLadyHoyer or manziel, I wish we wouldn't have announced a starter. Keep the colts guessing
-

Yeah, on the flip side they prepare mostly for Hoyer and then Hoyer sucks for 3 drives and you bring in Manziel in the early/mid 2nd qtr.SportsAndLady;1681741 wrote:Hoyer or manziel, I wish we wouldn't have announced a starter. Keep the colts guessing -
thavoiceYou do have to prepare for both, that is true.
But they are professionals, and they have to have something in place for when they go against teams with a mobile QB. -
RotinajHoyer is awful but I can't say I'm surprised by the decision. I expect it to be close early but we will end up losing by 2 tds. Field goals aren't going to be good enough.

FootwedgeGoldhammer taking the news worse than me. It's going to get really ugly at the ball park this Sunday.

That....is a load of shit. What are they supposed to say, dimlid? Also, Pettine lied through his teeth claiming that the "whole staff" was behind this decision. That is bullshit. No, this call lays firmly on the stubborn, bull headed, throw-in-the-season head coach. His allegiance to the 27th rated quarterback vs. trying to win a playoff spot is disgusting.Ironman92;1681732 wrote:That was the first reason I heard as to why it was Hoyer.
