Lebron and Kyrie have to do a better job of getting Love involved. Love had 8 shots, Kyrie 26 and Lebron 21, has to be better balance. Love didn't exactly look like he was engaged in the game tonight to me though.

He's played like a loser all year...including the last 12 games. It's pretty sad when the coach has to bench this choke artist whenever the game is on the line. 2 out of 8 again tonight. The coach has more faith in Dellavadova than he does Love, Can't say I blame him. And this nonsense that Kyrie and LBJ has to get him involved is bogus too. He doesn't move well without the ball for one thing. And he should be shutoff from shooting 3's...as should Dellavadova. Play the low block...it's the only thing you know how to do. If he's gonna spot up, to create space, then fake the shot and then go inside. Something that he doesn't know how to do.

Some positive notes....JR Smith is soooo much better than Waiters it isn't funny. Tonight he hit 2 3's in the last 10 seconds . that's some clutch shooting. Shumpert does a lot of things well...especially that he never takes a bad shot. They need to find a replacement for Dellavadova. He fired up 3 more 3ball bricks...wide open shots and barely drew iron. (one was all air). Don't know if Ray Allen has any gas in the tank...but something has to be done.

Agree with pg. That's their one main need. I think Love and Tristan have gotten better on D so I'd be more happy with a back up pg than a center. But Blatt is so infatuated with Delly. Sorry but in crunch time it has to be smith or shump. You got shump for defense, use it!!

I have been a little surprised at how little they are playing Shump since he returned from injury. I thought he would take Delly's spot in the rotation, when he's really just taken some of his minutes, not all of them. I know Delly hustles and works hard, and he's an international player (which obviously Blatt has a soft spot for), but this guy doesn't belong on an NBA floor in meaningful minutes. He's an 11-12th guy on a roster, not an 8-9th. He should play the entire 4th quarter of games like against the Clippers, and other than that, he should be used to foul and nothing more.

Let me preface this with I love the Mozgov signing. I think defensively he's exactly what we needed. With that being said...I don't know if there's anyone in the NBA with worse hands. I can't tell you how many times I've seen Lebron drive, they collapse and he drops it off to ol Timofey and he fumbles it out of bounds. Granted if we're counting on him for offense, we're in trouble. It's gotta be frustrating to have a sweet pass and assist and it goes right off his hands.

To be fair, a lot of the time I've seen them hit him with a bounce pass in the lane which is always tough, but yes, his hands are iffy.

I think a lot of it is him learning when and where to expect a pass. I've seen quite a few where LBJ or Kyrie threw a bounce pass when he was expecting a lob. I think they'll work it out.

About as good as the offense can be

Bow down to Kevin Love. He raised his 3 ball average from 33% to 34%. Consider me impressed. Today he had a banner day....for once. How many games has he cost the Cavs this year with his shooting? Plenty. He still shouldn't be shooting 3's.

I'm not the only one pissed at Love. Every single sports show host has about had it with him.

17 and 10 as the third option, yeah teams would hate to have that.

I was at the game Sunday. Kevin Love's big game was all me. Also, we sat where you get all you can drink food and drink. Was pretty cool. Nobody cared about the game, though.

I was there as well. So I get half the credit.

One thing I was watching was loves demeanor on the floor. On TV sometimes I thought he had bad body language. Looked like he wasn't running hard and has his head down. Yesterday though he had a big game, and that's still how he was. So that made me feel better about my suspicions that he was having bad body language which I thought was a sign of something more.

I like that Love is staying after practice and even games to work on his shooting.
  • Uz2Bon36
Love should thank Lebron for allowing him to take so many shots.

Make it thirds, because I was also there (much to the dismay of sleeper)

17 and 10 for what? What are his season numbers? I'm a Cavs fan and want to see the guy play like a 3 time All Star plays. I loved the trade for Wiggins. So far, he hasn't played like it. Some players play above their station when traded to a contender. Look at JR Smith for one example. Some people gag on their tongue. Cavs can win it all if Love plays decently. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he turns it around.

Those are his numbers this season.....Not to bad for the 3rd option, and I'd say playing a bit better than "decently".

There isn't a third option in the league who has better numbers than he does. His shooting numbers need to come up but other than that he is exactly what the Cavs need. I don't think you realize that there are only so many touches and shots to go around, he's not going to put up the numbers he put up in Minnesota because he isn't going to get the opportunity to. He averages 17 and 10 as a distant third option, and if Lebron or Kyrie go down he will produce like he has his entire career.

If you were actually a Cavs fan you'd know those are his season numbers.

Once again robj wrong again. Pau Gasol - 18 points, 12 boards, 3 assits, 2 blocks per game all better numbers than Love and he is definitely the Bulls third option behind Butler and Rose.

But LOL at FW not knowing Love's numbers.

I think Love leaves for LA in the off season anyway. The reality is, I think this team long term can contend for championships on just Irving/Lebron plus some good pieces. Love is really just a bonus.
