I heard him and Haywood for Lamarcus Aldridge.

Aldridge and Thompson would be a pretty devastating combo. Would Love really want to sign long-term and go to Portland? I mean, it seems they can't keep Aldridge, but look how badly Love wanted to leave Minnesota. Portland isn't much better...

I don't know that he'd want to be there either, but they're much better than Minnesota.

Maybe a better geographical location and not a historically terrible franchise, but where exactly are they going? Near the bottom playoff contender in the West consistently? And where's the upside?
  • ZWICK 4 PREZ
fwiw, I'd prefer love over Aldridge anyway.

Cavs are shopping Haywood and their draft pick.

    That's not a good trade.

    I wouldn't do it.

According to Humpty Dumpty (Windhorst) it sounds like they are looking for a playmaking guard in return.

Sigh. Here comes the Lebron vs Blatt rumors.

I just saw reports they are shopping those assets as a package. As BR pointed out hopefully it's a guard who can make plays off the bench, or somebody who can spot lebron minutes off the bench, especially heavily during the season.

At this point I just move on from that shit. There is always going to be some bs revolving lebron, whether it's true or not.

If lebron truly doesn't believe in blatt then I would like to know what coach lebron would like. It doesn't seem like he has had a NBA coach that he had ever been a fan of.

Bruce Drennan from STO "called it" when he announced that the presser was for Blatt's resignation. Pretty sure he did this on air yesterday. Bull & Fox from 92.3 also thought that was the reason for the presser because of the Marc Stein story I posted yesterday about how LBJ treats Blatt like shit.

Lol love is not a top 10 player in the league.

ESPN had an article today that basically squashed all of that.

What about Deandre Jordan to Cleveland? I've heard his name come up a few times...supposedly LeBron would like to play with him. I don't know his contract situation in LA.

    No thanks on Deandre.

Definitely not, but easily top 10 in the East, which is the majority of the battle to winning a title.

I still don't get why you would listen to that shit. I could actully see the Marc Stein story being accurate since Lebron is a passive aggressive vagina, when it comes to shit like this.

Agreed, which with Kyrie pretty much gives the cavs the two best players on the court any given series, and even 3 best depending on some matchups.

    Link?

Also, not sure what you could give up for Jordan. Sounds like a pipe dream.

I really don' think the Cavs need to do anything crazy this off season. They were 33-3 after the trades and when the "big 3" were playing. They just need to stay healthy, and find guys who can actually come off the bench and not get paid to be cheerleaders.
  • BR1986FB
Lebron hasn't underachieved in the Finals according to these numbers....

For next season, absolutely. There is no need to make any big sweeping changes except for the dumping of the Haywood contract for hopefully a decent rotational player. Marion is gone and hopefully some of the other trash at the end of the bench is gone but that's about all I'd like to see changed.

I am assuming it would take Love to get Deandre... Right?

That's why I said no thanks. I'd much rather have Love
