2014-2015 Cleveland Cavaliers Season Thread

Crimson streakHonestly being on the road is probably the best thing for them right now. Should be much more relaxed. I definitely expect a w tonight
-
friendfromlowryI'm of the opinion that classy isn't trolling, just dumb. It's okay if I'm wrong because I'm not wasting time arguing with him. I would like to point out that Lebron has probably played in about 30 NBA finals games while Kyrie's Duke career was a handful of games against mostly scrubs that make up November-December college basketball.
-
Pick6Still LOLing about classy's comment. May take the cake for the dumbest comment I've ever read.
last nights L doesn't bother me a bit, though a W would have been nice. You could tell Lebron was nervous (no matter what he says) and he was looking for teammates to be in places where they werent. That'll work itself out in time. If Lebron even played average last night, the Cavs win. Shot something like 20% and had atleast 8 turnovers. But it's Lebron; nothing to worry about. -
thavoiceJust means they have to go 72-9 to tie MJs mark in Chicago.
-
lhslep134Lebron played TERRIBLY and the Knicks couldn't miss. If either of those scenarios was lessened a little, we win. Can't really take too much from the 1st game together for this talented of a team.
That being said, man was that sloppiness painful to watch. -

MulvaClassy posting always reminds me of the "gotta respect the condom" guy from the adam sandler respect sketch.

Commander of Awesome
This. Not concerned yet, but I will I expected the Cavs to feed off the crowd and beat the living shit out of the knicks. Win by 30+. Goes to show, it takes more than a pumped up crowd and superstars being on the floor to win. Heat lost to the 6ers last season, so I'm not hitting the panic button yet.lhslep134;1669269 wrote:Lebron played TERRIBLY and the Knicks couldn't miss. You could see glimpses of how great this team can be though. It's just going to take time to get it all togetherCommander of Awesome;1669290 wrote:This. ohiobucks1Cavs +4.5 tonight. Taking that for $50.

Commander of Awesome1.5 games into the season, Love is still what I've thought of him for his career. Great offensive player, and rebounder. GREAT. But soft and a negative defender, SO far.
Not trying to get iQQy here. Just being honest. -
FootwedgeGood first half for the good guys. LeBron was awesome. Love the work by TT on the put backs. Hopefully they can get the W against these guys.
-
Ironman92
Noted. No one looking like a positive defensive player right now....not even on the Bulls.Commander of Awesome;1669380 wrote:1.5 games into the season, Love is still what I've thought of him for his career. Great offensive player, and rebounder. GREAT. But soft and a negative defender, SO far.

Is AV a good enough defensive guy to offset Love? -
Ironman92Irving needs to be a but more concerned with the silly fouls. He should rarely be in foul trouble.
-
Commander of AwesomeLove is a fantastic passer though.
-
Ironman92Waiters looks out of sorts in there.
Great rebound by Love against Noah.
Hinrich plays the game like you want your son to play.
Dellendova looks like some random guy from the crowd. -
Ironman92Waiters and Dellendova haven't given 1 positive thing this quarter
-
Commander of AwesomeWaiters looks like our new Larry Hughes. Hes played like garbage thus far (1.75 games into the season lol).
Dion is fearless. I like that about him, has a short memory and he thinks he's the best player on the court. He can play better than he's played thus far, but I think he'll be streaky player his entire career. -
Commander of Awesome
Not an intimidator/shot blocker, but he is a great defender whenever he's on the court. Not sure if can offset Love. Too soon to tell. Maybe Love will get better, etc...Ironman92;1669385 wrote: Is AV a good enough defensive guy to offset Love? -
BRFI am still smh on that "classy" comment I read earlier today.
I am still skeptical on LBJ coming back here and delivering.
And I still can't stand the NBA. -
