The cap next year is $67.1 mil.

I bet Gilbert does resign his guys too. B/c he has to. He can't go out and get anyone else. Don't have cap room for it.
And they need to set aside some money for D-Wade. ;)

Just cant wrap my head around if Love, Irving, and Varejao were playing while the Golden State didn't have Thompson, Iguodala, and Barnes.

Again, they could use the MLE to sign somebody... I bring up Haywood, because I assume they would trade his contract to bring some hell in as opposed to just letting it expire.

Read where Smith "probably won't " exercise player option.

The GSW will be in good shape when they dump Lee and Bogut's contract. Lee will be expiring and Bogut 2 years left. It's possible they can find a sucker to take one/both. Ezeli has a solid future and on their team, they don't really need a center to do much but rebound and pass out of the post.

My biggest question is: will David Blatt be back? Probably sounds crazy after the season they had but I have this feeling he won't.
That's not even a question. He'll be back. Blatt did a really good job this season.

Yeah if there's a guy on a team cleveland wants and that team needs to get rid of money. I just assume if there was a scenario, Haywood would already be gone.

No doubt about that. I don't question whether the Cavs will want to bring him back. I question whether he'll WANT to be back.

If I am a betting man, they will use Haywood to bring pieces in.

Why wouldn't he want to come back?

If Blatt is gone next year, it won't be because HE decided to leave lol.

I have no idea where BR is getting that from lol

    SMH Stephen A smith.

Talking about TT, said the Cavs made a huge mistake by not signing him. They offered him $15M what more should they have done?!

Then he says "remember, him and lebron share the same agent, and lebron can opt out of his contract. They have no room for error."

    What a god damn idiot.

I mean I said it before that I had a feeling that he could be gone, win or lose. But it sure as hell won't be because he doesn't want to be there anymore.

Are you f#cking kidding me? I've heard the idea is being tossed around about possibly throwing a parade for the Cavs for finishing SECOND?

Bring back the same team and find something useful for Haywood.

BR1986FB;1735539 wrote:It was a fun ride while it lasted. It sucks but I'm not overly disappointed. That rag tag group, minus Kyrie & Love, had no business being in the Finals but they fought & scrapped the whole series. For that, Cleveland fans should be proud. I think we all know that if the Cavs had been at full strength we'd be celebrating a championship after game 4 of that series.

My biggest question is: will David Blatt be back? Probably sounds crazy after the season they had but I have this feeling he won't.
No question Blatt should and will be back. Not sure I really understand the hate for Blatt; he's a good coach.

You'd hope so. it doesn't always seem like there's many likely scenarios in the NBA anymore. Everyone wants too much for people

I believe they offered him 13 a year and the rumor is he wants 15.

    He's worth $15. No doubt.
