Spurs continue to find a way. Can finish off the Clippers on Thursday.
  • sportswizuhrd
That was a great game. Bonehead move by Jordan on the offensive goaltending. He had enough time to wait for it to either go in or come off the cylinder. Griffin is awful this series in the 4th. Old Man Duncan came up huge in the final minute on the Defensive end. Like FFL said, Spurs found another way to win. Game 6 should be another great one.

You know, honestly, the Spurs will probably end up in the NBA finals. Pop is way too good of a coach.

And if the Cavs get there with them, Cleveland fans will come up disappointed again.

I would rather play anyone but the Spurs.

Looks like OKC is about to offer Billy D their head coaching job.

Wonder if he'll accept and then change his mind again??

Agreed. Even with Love I don't think they'd beat them. Kyrie had to play out of his mind in the one victory and I don't see something like that happening again. With Love, I think they would beat GS. It would be a coinflip, to me, without him against the Warriors.

I think with Love we win the whole damn thing no problem. Without Love, I still think we can but beating the Spurs is going to be tough.

I was thinking that too. Also what's his appeal? Since Noah and Horton left, Florida that great of a team?

3 straight Elites 8s and a final four since then. And a final four before that suggest yes. But, he has had down years for sure.

Thought I heard during march madness this year that UF hoop facilities are pretty shitty.

Pretty impressive run for a team w/o legit NBA guys-- Elite 8s in '11, '12, '13 and a Final Four in '14. Only one team ('11 with Parsons) featured a legit NBA guy.

Since Nick Calathes and Chandler Parsons in the 2007 class, Bradley Beal is the only other Donovan recruit to play in the NBA.

From 2002-2006, Anthony Roberson, Matt Walsh, Corey Brewer, Al Horford, Joakim Noah and Marreese Speights all played.

In fact, Donovan probably has the most elite recruiting compared to how poorly he is at putting guys in the NBA. Since that class, he's signed eight 5-star recruits and only Beal played in the league (minus current players)

    Bradley Beal?

Hawks putting on a clinic on how not to be a 1-seed.
  • Pick6
Hawks will most likely win series, but this is why I didn't want to draw the Nets in the 1st round. They actually have talent and are giving the 1 seed all they can handle.

Then again, Love probably wouldn't be gone for the fucking season if we drew the Nets.

Lillard has that look on his face like "The season's almost over, Aldridge is going to leave and I'll be stucky with goofy fucking Robin Lopez"

Forgot to post this during the Kawhi discussion http://grantland.com/the-triangle/claw-school-kawhi-leonards-defensive-master-class/
While there’s no shortage of emergent superstars trying to be like Mike, Leonard seems more like Pippen. And while Leonard will probably always remain underappreciated by the folks on Madison Avenue, it’s clear he’s valued by the people who know the most about the game.

Well, that quote explains why Sleeper thinks he's garbage more than anything any of us could say. Too much playing the role of "Madison Avenue CASHMONEY" and too little knowledge.
