Naw it wasn't that bad, he only grabbed his arm with both his hands and cranked on his shoulder to stop him. Happens all the time.Ironman92;1724466 wrote:Dirty as shit....I'd give him 10 games next year

MulvaGood game in Brooklyn.
-
robj55If these playoffs have showed me anything, it's that the East isn't nearly as bad as people claim, and the West isn't nearly as good as they claim either.
-
MulvaThe Hawks have been pathetic.

Lol you say that every yearrobj55;1724519 wrote:If these playoffs have showed me anything, it's that the East isn't nearly as bad as people claim, and the West isn't nearly as good as they claim either. -

Because the west is over hyped every year by the media. Most of those teams don't play a lick of defense, which you have to do in the playoffs.friendfromlowry;1724525 wrote:Lol you say that every year -
MulvaGiannis is so damn long.

robj55DRose getting it done again when it counts, dude has maybe the worst tunnel vision since Iverson.

How do you prove they aren't playing a lick of defense? The west doesn't but the Raptors and Celtics did? The best team in the conference just gave up 120 points to the worst.robj55;1724535 wrote:Because the west is over hyped every year by the media. Watch the damn games for starters. Most of those teams aren't good defensively, they play up tempo and are fun to watch and are good offensively.friendfromlowry;1724541 wrote:How do you prove they aren't playing a lick of defense? sleeperWow these Bulls are sure as shit world beaters. I'm really shaking in my boots. LOL

Well when you have any type of logic or statistics to back it up other than you've played and watched a ton of basketball for 75 years and that trumps everything else, let me know.robj55;1724542 wrote:Watch the damn games for starters. robj5510-41 combined for Rose and Butler, oof

It's just an observation, if you can't tell a difference between watching the Bucks vs Bulls and the Rockets vs the Mavs then I don't know what to tell you.friendfromlowry;1724546 wrote:Well when you have any type of logic or statistics to back it up other than you've played and watched a ton of basketball for 75 years and that trumps everything else, let me know. -
Lovejoy1984Don't forget to leave out the 6 TO's by rose.
-
Laley23The Warriors are a top 3 defensive team from what I watched this year.
Just cause you play fast paced doesnt mean you dont play defense. -
robj55
Talking about as a whole, yes GS is a good defensive team. Memphis is as well as the Spurs. My point is that the West is overhyped, mostly because of the style they play imo. Doesn't translate to playoff success typically imo.Laley23;1724551 wrote:The Warriors are a top 3 defensive team from what I watched this year.

Two assists too! Rose has never been the guy that the media wants/makes him out to be.HighRoller74;1724550 wrote:Don't forget to leave out the 6 TO's by rose. -

The West went 263-187 against the East this year. 58.4%. But you probably couldn't tell that by watching the games. -
robj55
Good post, but that doesn't have anything to do with a style of play translating to the playoffs.Mulva;1724557 wrote:

robj55For the record I'm not saying the West isn't great, it is, but it's over hyped by the media and the East is consistently undersold. The West is the better conference with better talent.

FootwedgeYeah Rose is a very over rated point guard. Cavs will be a huge favorites in the next round...at least 4 to 1. Even w/out Love and JR for 2 games.

Offensive efficiency top 10: West 6, East 4robj55;1724558 wrote:Good post, but that doesn't have anything to do with a style of play translating to the playoffs.
Defensive efficiency top 10: West 5, East 5
I don't think there's any such thing as a conference style of play. The west has 4 of the top 5 teams in pace, but also 3 of the bottom 5. -

I'm not saying I'm right, just an observation I've had over the last few years.Mulva;1724563 wrote:Offensive efficiency top 10: West 6, East 4
