Blazers offered Enes Kanter the Max 4/70m offer sheet.

It'll be interesting to see if OKC Matches. It'll put them over the Luxury tax, and they traded Harden because of not wanting to pay tax.

I'd let him walk for that price.

For a guy who can get 20 and 10? Yet guys like Tristan Thompson want the same amount per year basically?

He's nowhere near as good as TT.

Kanter is a negative defensively. Not a zero, a negative. That gets you taken off the court in the playoffs. Doesn't compare as a player to TT

lol you've never seen him play obviously, TT is one dimensional.

TT is negative offensively so I guess that evens out.

In what world does being a negative defensively even out with being a negative offensively on a team with Kyrie, Love, and Lebron?

It's a rhetorical question--the answer is in your NBA fantasy world, the same one where D-Wade is still a top player.

And if you think Kanter will get 20 and 12 with Durant, Westbrook, and Ibaka all playing...el oh f'ing el*

*Although that's in line with the rest of your NBA fantasy world thoughts

I know he won't average that with their full cast, but he's still better than TT and they are garnering around the same amount of money. TT is a good rebounder, decent shot blocker, terrible in pick and roll defense, no footwork, no face up game, no post game. He does some little things to help you win though and the Cavs obviously want to keep him. Fantasy world thoughts? What are you talking about?

He only needs to do 1 thing offensively and that is get rebounds. He is very good at that.

Kanter will put up good stats on bad teams; TT will be winning championships.

What did I say that wasn't true? I like Thompson for the Cavs but everything I said is accurate.

I agree, he does what he is asked to do, but he isn't capable of anything else. I do believe that the Cavs will win multiple titles within the next few years.

I'm not going through the various NBA threads to pull up every post that we've called you out for making an asinine comment.

A notable one is you saying D Wade was still a top 10/15 player.

Your view of the NBA is out of touch with reality. I can't think of any easier way to explain the phrase "fantasy world thoughts"

Yeah, terrible, looks lost in space and torched every time he switches, very slow rotating back and recovering.

He's probably one of the best PF/C in the league in the pick and roll. Did you watch the finals? He was the only Cavs big that could switch the pick and roll.

I said he was a top 20 player when he was coming off a season where he averaged 20,5 and 5 while shooting over 50% from the field. That was over a year ago though. Come up with something else?

Yeah he switched and got scored on every time, that's not being effective. He's not good in pick and roll coverage, at all. He was forced to switch because he's not good enough to hedge and recover.

East vs West (this one brings the lulz)
