This is exactly how I feel. Wiggins has the potential to be a KD/LBJ type player in 3-4 years. Love has the potential to never play defense and be carried by actual superstars to a playoff series win.Laley23;1636355 wrote:I know S&L watched the most of Wiggins last year. But, outside of him, maybe only Az watched him more than I did. No way do you give him up for Love. Just no way. He was a gamechanged in college without even "having a good year". I posted the #s next to Parker before, and Wiggins was considered a letdown...He has a game for the NBA, and a ceiling that is surpassed by only KD and LeBron at the moment. If he is what we think, he will be the 3rd best player in the game in 4 years...if not sooner. -
ohiobucks1So we got Miller on a 2 year deal. Now lets see what else..

Not sure where you see those comparisons, if anything his ceiling is Paul George imo.sleeper;1636367 wrote:This is exactly how I feel. wildcats202 year, $5.5 mil for Mike Miller.

Probably, but honestly we don't even know George's ceiling yet. Last year was his first regular season being on the precipice of superstardom and he flashed it at times and other times fell short. Curious to see if his trajectory trends even higher.robj55;1636370 wrote:Not sure where you see those comparisons, if anything his ceiling is Paul George imo.
I'm sure the fact that the Pacers themselves are a huge mystery doesn't help with gauging how good George really is.
I think I may even include PG in the small group of players I'd trade Wiggins for. -

So is Ray Allen'srobj55;1636361 wrote:Watch his shot, the rotation is completely wrong. -

Watch the rotation, especially on the money balls. Its completely textbook.....like everything about his shooting is lolHelloAgain;1636376 wrote:So is Ray Allen's -
ohiobucks1The more I think about it the more ridiculous it sounds to trade Wiggins for Love. I really hope we go into tomorrow Loveless, unless its just Bennett and others (not named Andrew)

Ray Allen does NOT have textbook shooting form. His right elbow is out like a chicken wing.KB0938;1636377 wrote: Watch the rotation, especially on the money balls. Its completely textbook.....like everything about his shooting is lol -
KB0938Yeah guess i should of kept it to rotation and release being textbook

Sorry I just have a hard time buying your source. The last 4 years we had NO IDEA who the cavs were gonna draft and now one connection outside the organization says it's a done deal for love by today? Has Lebron even returned from Brazil lol?ohiobucks1;1636378 wrote:The more I think about it the more ridiculous it sounds to trade Wiggins for Love. wildcats20This discussion has been had before though.
I think it was a comparison of Ray and Reggie Miller(who also has "awful" form). The closest shot to textbook in the game today is Kobe. And yes, everyone can call me a homer, but it's true.
But to me, it's like a golf swing. Doesn't matter how it looks, as long as it works and is repeated the same way every time. I mean look at Jim Furyk's golf swing lol. -

No. Unless his picture in front of Christ the Redeemer is not from today.like_that;1636381 wrote:Sorry I just have a hard time buying your source. KB0938Yeah Kobes is pretty textbook. Carmelo, Reddick and a few others are up there too

He never specifically said he talked to Lebron (which he does quite often) he just said it was from Lebrons group (which could mean any of his bros). I only know it wasn't from Maverick becauase I specifically asked if it was from him. The source is typically legit because he is friends with Lebron and they party together (in Miami, and now will in Cleveland) at least a few times a year. They also do business with Lebron through Maverick and Lebron's Wife, so they shoot the shit then too. -
Pick6The order of tradeable pieces I'm willing to give up for Love: 1st (even multiple), TT, Dion, Bennett, Wiggins. Like Sleeper has said, I'm willing to tell Minnesota to pick two (not will to trade Wiggins at all, just posted order of preference), maybe 3 if it involves TT. But Im completely fine with not trading for him at all. We have a lot of great young talent and I would like to not suck after LBJ is gone. Wiggins couldn't be in a better position to develop.
FWIW- In defense of rob, the announcers last night were talking about Wiggins' knuckle ball shot last night. I wasn't paying that close attention to the "knuckle ball" but he definitely needs work on the shot as we already know. -
HelloAgain
Not at all. He's the perfect proof that shooting is more of an art than a science.KB0938;1636377 wrote: Watch the rotation, especially on the money balls. Its completely textbook.....like everything about his shooting is lol -
KB0938Theres absolutely no arguing that his rotation isnt perfect lol. Its nowhere near a knuckleball or whatever you compared it to
-
lhslep134Right. Allen's form isn't perfect, but his rotation is.

Mike Miller has the best form I've seen.wildcats20;1636382 wrote:This discussion has been had before though.

Lovejoy1984Thoughts on Bringing back Boozer?
I'd only bid his minimum, and nothing more, but he'd be a good 1st big off the bench, solid spot starter. -
robj55
I agree, repetition is the key, how you start and finish the shot are what is most important.wildcats20;1636382 wrote:This discussion has been had before though.

lhslep134Hell no on Boozer. To me, what he did was way worse than what Lebron did and I will forever hate Boozer for being a true scumbag.
