Lol I would end all communication with Minnesota if that is the case.

Love hasn't even gotten to the PLAYOFFS. I know he's really good but you don't mortgage your future for Kevin love.
This should end talks. Let Minnesota rot.

Another thing to think of, Kevin Love is the best rebounder in the league but also the best outlet passer. Imagine him cleaning the glass and getting the outlet to Lebron on the break, puts a lot of pressure on the defense.

I'm in the mindset of do what it takes to get Love. I want a championship for a Cleveland sports team. He gives us the best shot at it within the next couple of years. I'm not talking future, but this year and next couple..Kyrie, Love, Lebron > Kyrie, Wiggins, Lebron. Just my opinion though. May regret it 5 years from now, but if it even nets you just 1 championship, well worth it.

Id do it if Kmart is involved. Need to replace the 2 guard void.

This was my mindset right after Lebron returned but Minnesota is just getting ridiculous with their demands.

Yea, I just read that offer after I posted. That's a bit insane.

Well, if Minnesota wants Love to walk away at the end of his contract with them getting nothing whatsoever for him, they should go ahead and make that their demands.

I've imagined this with lebron running one sideline and Wiggins running the other .

Love holds the key here. If he's already talked to Lebron (wouldn't be the first time LBJ's gotten together with other players secretly), all Love has to do is tell other potential trade suitors that he won't sign with them long term and he's likely a one year rental. Assuming he'd keep his word about signing long term with the Cavs, it looks like the T-Wolves only have one potential destination (Cleveland) for him thus diminishing their return in the trade.

If I'm trading for Love, you're getting Waiters and a 1.. thats it.

It is quite possible that Minnesota is asking so much because they know that the Cavs pitched to LBJ in getting Love and they feel that Clev will now well overpay to be able to show James that they will do what they told them they were going to.

Thats fine. He's not worth a wiggins and Bennett and picks. Let him go to GS or Chicago.

I didn't say that. I only implied you're ridiculous for offering just DW and 1 first

I'm confused as to your point. Are you disagreeing that I think it's laughable to only offer DW and a single 1st? Let alone ignoring the fact that trade would be impossible cap-wise.

It's not ridiculous when you're about to lose him for nothing.

I don't get where people only assume that it's the Cavs or he walks at the end of the year? You don't think other teams would offer a better deal than Waiters and a 1st even if it's just for a 1 year rental and an outside shot of him signing?

I don't. Chicago already offered better (supposedly). I'm not giving up what they want for Love.

This post is hilarious for 2 reasons:

    1) the vast amount of assumptions you're making that are most likely completely wrong; and

    2) the fact that we CANNOT do a DW + 1 first for KL without giving up other salaries.

So continue to think you're not being ridiculous, and I'll keep getting a kick outta it.

No, but they are delusional if they think they are in the position to get Wiggins. If they find a better trade than what the cavs offered (sans wiggins) then show me.

What can the bulls offer to minny? They would have to give up a nice piece as well.

Did LeBron sign a 2 yr deal with a player option after this year?

Is so, can he opt out, let the Cavs sign Love to a max deal in offseason, and then the Cavs just sign him to a new deal where they can go over the cap because they have his bird rights??

You're missing the point. You're not giving Minnesota anything worthwhile for love when he's got a year left on his contract. Especially what they want.
