I did not know this. Thanks.

Yeah they can sign him but then he'd barely play. That was my point. If he does sign it guarantees they are getting Love and he's chasing a championship.

I had had to clarify before LHS cries about how it's possible and no one knows anything but him.

I'd play Ray over James Jones...

The only one crying here is you because I called you out on your bullshit logic, of which you haven't rebutted. So keep on with this "LHS crying" nonsense because it just makes you look like a butthurt bitch.

I offered the reasoning, I can't help you're too dense to grasp it. There's no rebuttal possible after you try to explain to someone that the names didn't matter, it was the fact that you weren't going to give Minnesota anything worthwhile when they're in the position they're in. I could have told you I'd offer Waiters and Donald Duck and you'd let me know Donald Duck doesn't play for Cleveland and doesn't make enough money anyways.

Donald Duck probably has weird rotation on his shot.

It's not bad. A little like a knuckle ball but it does actually have some backspin.

And this was my response: that I understood your point. See, I even said that!
lhslep134;1636330 wrote:I get the point. You just had a retarded post that was premised on extremely faulty logic.
And my main point, that you clearly disregarded, is not that it's salary cap impossible for that trade to happen, but that it could never get to the point where that's all Minnesota would accept. I also explicitly said that too!

As an FYI, if it hasn't been mentioned, for those of you who have Showtime, tonight at 8pm Jim Rome will be interviewing the guy who wrote the SI piece on Lebron's return. Heard some snippets of the interview on the way home and it sounded fascinating.

Talked about when OSU played Michigan St and Lebron was rooting for the Buckeyes while all of his Miami teammates were rooting for MSU. Also a comment about how the author interviewed Tristan Thompson and Lebron would constantly be checking in to see how the Cavs "young guys were developing."

And now, a hypothetical for all of the Wiggins lovers....I'd heard that for all of the Cavs posturing, if push comes to shove, Wiggins isn't "off limits." If Lebron tells the front office "get Kevin Love....whatever it takes" what do YOU do?

Obviously you'd want to ride it out as long as possible to call their bluff but it seems like a lot of the "just one before I die" crowd has gotten pretty greedy.

"Just one before I die" I've never heard anyone say this. Maybe some of the old timers (cough cough footwedge) may be saying that, but to me that's retarded. I want Cleveland to win 5 championships with Lebron, why would I just root for one? Lol

If you have a chance to have "the next Lebron" learn from Lebron himself, why wouldn't you want that? Lebron is almost 30. in 5 years he probably won't be the best NBA player. Wiggins very well could be. You don't trade that opportunity for "just one title before I die".

Thanks for the heads up BR, I just DVR'd it.

To me, if I have to include Wiggins, the other assets I'm giving significantly go down.

Instead of being ok with a Waiters, TT and/or Bennett Combo, with up to 3 #1s, I'd move my offer down to Wiggins, TT/Bennett, and no picks, at all, plus I'd ask for Zach LaVine as Well as Love/Dieng

    Simply put:

    Waiters/TT/Bennett 3#1s for Love/Deing
    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ovd7trf

    Or

    Wiggins/TT/Hayward for Love/LaVine/Dieng

Trade machine doesn't work because Wiggins hasn't signed.

Who is saying Wiggins is the next Lebron? Lets not go crazy here.

He's been consensus best prospect since LeBron since he was like 15.

He wasn't even the consensus #1 pick of this draft.

Pretty sure he was on a magazine cover (GQ maybe?) where it said "the next Lebron James"

    The comparisons have been made.
  • lhslep134
No one is comparing Wiggins to Lebron, they're different players.

Wiggins has, however, been the "best prospect since Lebron" since he was 15.

For pretty much the entire season he was the #1 guy. Embiid jumped him towards the end of the year, but Embiid came out of no where.

    Update:

My guy is having dinner with Lebron tonight. I will know more probably as soon as tomorrow and if I get internet (I'll be in Amsterdam) I will rely the info. If not, expect it by monday. Sorry that I was wrong, he's usually money.

I don't think anybody is sorry that you were wrong, it means they still have Wiggins, lol.

Speaking of which, any idea when Lebron will have his press conference?

Is he having one? I thought he said, no party, no press conference...it's just time to get to work.
