Iqqy posted his doom and gloom post a couple weeks ago when they all opted out. Should be interesting to see who has the more powerful jinx.

Also I said this on rcf, but lebron is a student of the game. He'd see playing with melo would be fun since they've been friends since high school but also would see that it'd mean the heats only big man would be josh mcroberts. They'd be completely maxed in salary, since signing wade and melo would mean that mcrob and Granger took their full exceptions. It really just doesn't fit for the heat.
I agree with you on both accounts. Melo doesn't seem like the type to leave money on the table and I don't think getting him instead of bosh makes the heat better, in fact I think it makes them worse. I just don't like the way there there are rumblings about it around the league yet the main guys in the know that are serving as Riley's mouthpieces (woj, windhorst) haven't acknowledged a thing about it. And it's hard for me to imagine Riley hasn't reached out to melo at all. Just smells like somethig fishy is going on. Hopefully melo signs with the Knicks soon and I'm completely 100% wrong.

I'd think, in theory, the FULL RETARD jinx would be more powerful than the doom and gloom one, but I guess we now have a chance to put things into testing to find out for real. I have to admit, I'm excited to see where this goes.

I understand a bit of homerism, but LBJ is the guy that didn't let Bosh come to Cleveland. Everyone forgets how back in 09, Cavs had a deal on the FUCKING table with the Raps to land Bosh contingent on Bosh signing an ext with the Cavs. LBJ wouldn't commit to the Cavs, so Bosh wouldnt, and deal was nixed. link: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=5357607

AINT FUCKING HAPPENING. LBJ isn't coming back to Cleveland, and sure as shit isn't coming back to Cleveland with Melo/Love. LOLFAIL trep.
From your link: "Both James and Bosh are aware that such a trade is possible, and James has tried to recruit Bosh to the Cavaliers several times in the past few weeks, according to sources. But right now, Bosh remains cold to the idea of playing in Cleveland."

The reality is James, Wade, and Bosh wanted to go to the Heat the whole time so it didn't matter.

What that article left out was he was recruiting bosh without saying he'd resign. So recruiting bosh to come to Cleveland for one season. Cavs wouldn't do the trade without bosh agreeing to a long term deal and lbj wouldn't agree to signing long term thus deal fell through.

I think at this time the Heat were still working out some trades to clear cap space to sign all 3 of them so the Cavs were kept on the line just in case it didn't work out. Is it a bitch move? Yes. Does that mean I don't want Lebron back? No.

Agreed. Never said I wouldn't want lbj on the cavs. He's still a bitch though.

Well yeah. I didn't know we were still debating if Lebron is a bitch or not; is there anyone who doesn't think he's a bitch?

Heat fans before he started stringing them along lol.

But that's understandable, since most Heat fans probably are only Heat fans when they see headlines talking about how the team looks like a contender. They didn't know any of the actual back-stories about any of the players.

    Well ok...

@SamAmicoFSO: Cavs have had back and forth with LeBron's camp, more than what's been reported, I'm told. But source says he thinks LBJ leaning toward Heat

There's probably going to be a lot of these type of tweets over the next several days/week.

I am just going to wait to see what happens and not deal with my emotions until then.

Said it all along. He's not coming to Cleveland.

    3 certainties in life.
    1. Death.
    2. Taxes.
    3. Cleveland fans will be let down.

So, LBJ does not return, or he does and gets injured badly.

Hard to believe he's going back to the Heat otherwise why wait to say so? You think Lebron is really happy with McBob and Granger as the off season acquisitions? The Heat are running out of cap room to do anything with and now almost certainly any big time acquisition is off the table. The only way I see him return to the Heat is if Bosh leaves and they get Carmelo at a reduced rate but I can't see Melo taking less money. The number of cap space they have is only $12M assuming McBob and Granger get the MLE/BAE and the players get the agreed upon amount that they allegedly talked about. You may be able to get Gasol but that leaves essentially no money for bench players other than aging veterans which is the main weakness of the team right now.

You really think Napier, Cole, Wade, Bosh, McBob, and Granger is better than Irving, Wiggins, Waiters, Bennett, TT, and Andy over the next 4 years? No way Lebron is that stupid.

It's not in Cleveland it's actually considered the Bath/Cuyohoga Falls area. Which is closer to Akron. It's actually like 10-15 min. from his house in the Montrose area. Just need to clarify this because when I saw "Cleveland" I thought it was odd because he's always been an Akron guy and not a Cleveland guy. But not sure how much news this would be if true because I'm pretty sure he and his family still spend a lot of time in the area anyway.

Its been known for quite sometime that his kids were going to be enrolling in school in Ohio. For some reason it is always dismissed as not a major factor considering dad is almost a billionaire, however, if Lebron wants to be the opposite of his dad, he would want to be at as many things as possible I would think. What better way than to play half your games 15 minutes from your kids?
