I don't think Lebron is coming back, and I think he is a douche. That doesn't mean I don't want him back. Huge difference. Not really sure how you can't comprehend that. I would take any player I despise (except rapistberger) if it meant winning a title.

Also I stand by my comment that he could go fuck himself if he thought the cavs were gonna make moves to cater to the thought or him POSSIBLY coming back to the team. You don't make drafts picks based on one person who might or might not join your team. The cavs drafted THEIR guy, which I'm happy with.

like_that... I follow what you're saying. What I was saying is that I must've misunderstood your tone with those posts (obviously easy to do in type), and I understand you feeling the way you do. I don't necessarily agree with your feelings that he's a douche, but that's just my opinion. I think we was young and stupid and made a mistake. Not that it matters anymore. Let's all just hope that LBJ comes back and brings a title to Cleveland (other than BR). THAT is what really matters!

Everyone else reversed their tune once emotions settled down a few months/year into it. LeBron has also done a great job on his image and seems to have grown up a ton, which makes it easier for people to forgive...but no doubt, most want him back cause people want to win titles. LeBron = best chance at that.
    Agreed, 100%

    Lol

The headline on Twitter...Hornets, Heat in serious fight to sign FA McRoberts.

I wouldve put 1000000000000-1 odds on never reading a headline even close to that lol

Even without Lebron the Cavs are set up nicely for the future especially if Bennett can pan out to be something other than D-league bench warmer.

sorry, I just saw it on my Twitter, and I really haven't been following this thread.

KnowItAll, after LBJ's last FA period with Chad Ford sourcing waiters at Chicago restaurants, I take anything anyone says about a "source" with a big grain of salt. Grain of salt that is 0 actually. Bc it means jack shit. You're buddy doesn't know shit, and if he did, he wouldn't be telling you. Hope this helps.

He obviously doesn't KNOW anything because nothing is official. He just shared what he was told, and I thought I would share the information. Anyways, it's not even worth talking about this anymore.

His commitments he has coming up. His camp later in the week, then he is going to Brazil to watch the WC final I believe.

He has a Nike commitment in Brazil. But yes.

Until I read that ESPN has cleared a block of time for this, I BELIEVE NOTHING.

People with brains? I mean, considering Irving and Love don't have the best injury histories, it might be best to have a back-up plan beyond All Lebron All The Time, since that was how the team got before The Decision.
  • ts1227
Windy mentioned on Friday or Satirday last week that he expected an early week decision, due to the Nike commitment. Allows him to have everything ready to go for the 10th then head off to Brazil

Completely unrelated to what you just said, but how much of an ESPN hack has Windy turned into? Dude is washed up.

Irving gets slurped a lot for being a coach killer. Time for him to step up his game.

I think getting Kevin Love is probably out of the question. I'm pretty sure that Cleveland was trying to deal for him during the draft and I think I read somewhere where Kevin Love said he didn't want to play in Cleveland.

A core of Irving, Lebron and Wiggins/Waiters would be interesting. If they could get another key piece, then I think you have a serious contender

Irving is clearly ready to step up considering he just signed long term. He isn't going to "kill" Blatt anyways. Scott was a scapegoat all along and Brown just blows dick.

Also, Love said he would come to Cleveland and sign if Lebron came.

    Keep up.

Asking an honest question here....can they afford max deals for Lebron,Irving, and Love

jesus..this thread is bringing everybody out of the woodwork.

Right now, no. The would trade for Love which would create space. And Im no expert on the NBA cap, but there is supposedly a way they could make it work beyond this season. Most guys are on rookie deals.

There isn't even enough space to outright sign Lebron right now, which is why they are trying to move Jack. They could keep Jack though and use some extended payout provision. Andy would provide huge relief, but I'm not sure they are looking to get rid of him.
  • mucalum49
Kyrie is on his rookie deal this year, Love has a year before a max deal. LeBron would be the only max in the coming season and once you own Bird rights you can go over the cap to resign your own. Thus allowing us to resign Love to max next season if he gets traded here.
