Cleveland Cavaliers Offseason 2014

Not sure why Miami is so butthurt. I think even with the 'decision 1.0' if Lebron had won 2 championships in Cleveland that backlash would have been substantially less.

I hope round 1 of the 2015 NBA playoffs is Cavs, Heat.

I heard there are at least 6 of them.

Woj confirms it. As I said ;)

Anyways back to the topic, I'm excited. We still have 2 1sts to add players as we go, and we now have a big 3 that is incredible.

Because Florida. People are butthurt over Urban coming to Columbus.

Why would Le Batard get behind those?

And we get to keep Waiters too. At least we maintained one of our SGs. I'm ecstatic. My main reservation on Wiggins for Love was the chance of Love leaving.

"The precise deal terms have been agreed upon for weeks, but the teams and Love plan to stay silent about the particulars until the trade is announced in 16 days, sources told Yahoo Sports."
So they plan on staying silent but multiple sources told Yahoo Sports? Sounds legit.

I could see that the Urban thing but even with that Urban won 2 championships as well in Florida.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Agreed. With Love committing, long term, I'm fine with this unless he pulls a Boozer.

The deals have been agreed upon for weeks. I was told the trade was going to go down like 3 weeks ago by Lebron. He thought it was going to be announced quicker than it was, but it's still happening.

I don't think he will. Like I said before the alcoholic told me I was delusional, Lebron isn't going anywhere so I don't know why Love would either if he got traded here, but it was possible. Now, there's almost no way Love would welch on this.

    KI
    Waiters
    Lebron
    Love
    Andy

    Tristan
    Mike Miller
    James Jones
    Ray Allen?
    Shawn Marion?
    Dellavedova
    Haywood

    Sounds good to me

I think we'll look back on this in 5-10 years and think how poor of a trade this turned out to be.

Hate to be that negative guy lol but just how I feel.

How so? Love is a better Chris Bosh, and Irving is obviously better than Wade (at this stage of Wade's career). They won two titles, and we have a better roster 1-12.

Stop thinking like a Cleveland fan and worrying about the future when they have a REAL chance to win a title NOW. SMH!!

S&L is only saying that as a KU/Wiggins fan. The only possible way this trade turns out poor is if we don't win any championships AND Wiggins turns into a top 10 player within 4 years. I doubt the former now that we have Love, Kyrie, and Lebron and I have even more doubt about the latter.

Can't comment on S&L's affiliation with Wiggins/KU but I agree with you on the other points. I think Wiggins will be good but I doubt we're going to have buyers remorse since I don't think he'll reach the assumed potential with his supporting cast in Minny. This team is going to be REAL fun to watch this year. Not sure they can get by San Antonio though.

Was hoping the rumors of Thad Young being involved would end up being true.

This is going to be the MOST LOADED sports team Cleveland has had since the '97 Indians. I can't believe there are people that are upset. Your teams have been building for the future and salivating over young prospects for over 50 YEARS. Be happy that you are an instant favorite to win the title.

I'd like to add that Wiggins still needs a lot of development in his game. He definitely won't get that in Minnesota. He'll probably end up with bad habits trying to be the immediate "star" on the team.

A few weeks ago when this trade came up I was mad and thought it was stupid. After talking it out with the guys at work it makes sense. Lebron is 30 and we want to win now, not build for the future.

Agree with everything. Wiggins is not the next KD. KD DOMINATED at the college level. Wiggins did nothing of the sort.

Can of worms opened. I'll let S&L handle it.

Agree with this. I haven't brought it up but I'd heard weeks ago there could also be a "work ethic" issue with Wiggins. Either way, not going to throw the dude under the bus as I've been on board with this trade from the start, assuming they could lock up K-Love long term.

    Just win, baby.
