The hope is that he becomes a lock down defending three point shooter but right now it's still an unknown. He didn't look like a lock down defender when Isaiah Canaan(!!) beat him off the dribble to seal the game. He's young and he's not going to be a stud right away but that's how you're making it sound.
It's his opinion. He thinks Wiggins will be the man where we necessarily don't. We all have our personal opinions. Believe me, I still wear that Brandon Weeden albatross around my neck. :D

People are overly fascinated with his athleticism, as a basketball player he has quite a few holes.

Agreed again. Lebron would've been a nice "buffer" to buy Wiggins some time to hone his craft. He won't have that talent to hide behind in Minny.

I have no problem with S&L thinking Wiggins will be a future HOF. I have a problem with him talking about him like he's already a lock down 3 point shooter before he's played an NBA game.

And in MN he'll need to create his own shot, which is one of his current knocks. His step back is deadly relative to most rookies' but there's a lot more to work on. People can hate on Love for scoring all those points, but to do that night in and night out on a mediocre team as their best scoring threat is impressive. It shows he can create his own shot and score on his own which becomes crucial in the playoffs.

The only knock I see on Kevin Love is that he's not a rim protector, he does everything else well. Rebounding is part of defense, and he is the best in the league on the boards imo. He is also a good positional defender and a great passer. Him and Lebron running the pick and roll/pop will be deadly. Wiggins handle has to get better, he needs to get stronger and his jump shot needs work.

I never said HOF. He's a very good defender and can shoot 3's. Whether you're playing in the NBA, canada, China, Ukraine, Mars or Quahog you don't lose that ability.

And for Christ sake robj, can you stop? No one on here wants you to post here. You're the worst kind of fan. Literally 2 months ago you were posting as a heat fan (even though you won't admit it) and now you're all over cavs threads like you are some basketball genius. Just stop

I know you didn't say HOF but COA did, and I don't have a problem with believing that so that wasn't even a criticism.

What happened on the Canaan play? That was very poor defending with the game on the line. We have no proof (yet) that he'll be able to defend in the NBA. Smart money says he'll become a shut down defender but there's no guarantee of it, that's my only point.

I'm not guaranteeing it, it is just my opinion that he is a lock down defender. Sheesh

Has nothing to do with your opinion, just find it comical you were a cavs fan, then a heat fan, and now back on the cavs bandwagon.

My 14 year old cousin is the same way.

I personally think Wiggins best comparison, at this stage, might be Corey Brewer.

So I'm a Cavs fan because I'm posting on an Ohio message board, good to know.

Hate to be that negative guy lol but just how I feel.
Might very well, the next 1-4 years should provide a hell of a lot of enjoyment and hopefully a championship or two.

People are discussing Cleveland all over the fucking country. I'm on a random off-topic forum and there is a 30+ page thread discussing the NBA offseason, with LeBron and Cleveland consisting of 90% of the posts.

With Johnny Football, Lebron James and now Kevin Love, Cleveland is the center of the sports universe.

I want to see the Cavs win it all because I want to see how big it gets when Cleveland wins a championship. A lot of shit would happen I feel. Helluva 30 for 30 episode.

Just to be clear, I think Wiggins has HoF potential. I think he's that talented. Whether or not he gets there is up to him, etc... I am NOT saying he'll definitely be a HoFer.

Sometimes things have a way of being twisted and changed over time here on the OC. Wanted to put it in the clear writing.
