After the 4th game, the Browns host Pittsburgh. I will bet you $100 that Johnny football starts that game against
Pittsburg. Fuck injuries. Either one could get hurt. Whoever starts THAT Game wins the bet. Mmmmkay? Deal?
Hoyer can't slide to save his life, barring injury I'll make that bet

Goodell moved Gordons appeal again. Next week now instead of tomorrow.

what a load of shit, just get it over with already.

Gotta be good news though. You know goodell wants to ban him a year, but is getting pressure to drop the suspension altogether. So he is pushing the decision to back.

That's fucking bullshit. They have had since may to figure their shit out. Goodell can go fuck himself. You can't keep teams hostage. If I am jimmy Haslam I tell goodell to stop fucking around.
  • Rotinaj
Or Goodell wants this Ray Rice shit to blow over and doesn't want to suspend him for a year a few days after suspending a wife beater for 2 games.

    My thoughts as well.

Now they are saying it will still be tomorrow, but Goodell won't be present.

Evidently the judge hearing the appeal is a no nonsense guy. Mike Freeman from Bleacher Report is saying that Judge Harold Henderson will not buy the secondhand smoke excuse.

This completely contradicts the fact the NFL has stated they won't punish anyone for 2nd hand smoke.

Looking like a certain Steeler fan is a little nervous that Gordon might be available for week 1.....

Looks like the evidence they gathered clearly says so. Nice fail. Not surprised you are on your knees for goodell. He have a wrist slap for your cheating POS coach.

Crazy shit, and it really makes people want to get into supervisory positions, especially one that fires people....to hell with that.

This country is a nutbag fest. One person sees someone invade a high school and gun down students and there's a copycat within months. Seems like these workforce shootings are becoming more & more commonplace.

    Oh hell yeah.
I just dont buy the excuse it was second hand smoke. Maybe if it came from someone who had never been in trouble before and had small traces but your reputation and history do get factored in.

it wasn't second hand smoke. I'm frankly shocked the dude dodged a bullet 70x's before that. Surprised he doesn't sprinkle the shit on his Wheaties in the morning.

People can defend it and say he shouldnt get suspended, or that it is should be legal, or whatever but the fact remains that he is a professional athlete and making millions and needs to stay away from that stuff. Millions of Americans get random drug tests for their jobs and many abstain for one reason...to keep employment. I get tested at least once, sometimes 2-3 times a year. Doesnt bother me as I wouldnt be dong it either way but if one cannot change a habit to be a NFL player then he has some major issues.

Should the penalties be so harsh? No. But the rules are the rules and he knew them. His main saving grace in this is that he can thank Ray Rice for pulling a "Jim Brown" on his wife. In the court of public opinion, I wouldn't doubt it if he gets off scott free. He still needs to a) stay away from the shit (plenty of time for that after retirement) and b) stay away from the wrong influences.

He legitimately has Hall of Fame type talent which he may never realize if he keeps puffing away or hanging with those who do.

I have no issue with those who fire it up, and frankly I think it should be legal AND taxed like a mofo, but use some common jackass sense.....millions & millions of $ > hitting the bong
