ZWICK 4 PREZIf that's correct there's no way he won't win the appeal.

I'd be pumped. He's a top 2 receiver in the league with an average at best QB throwing to him.BR1986FB;1639986 wrote:A source informed Profootballtalk that suspended WR Josh Gordon's failed drug test barely generated a positive, and it would have been a negative had luck been on Gordon's side.
Gordon was summoned for a urine sample. Those samples are split into two bottles, one marked "A" and the other "B." It's completely random which one is marked "A" and which is labeled "B." "A" is tested first, and if it generates a positive test, then "B" is tested. The limit is 15 nanograms-per-milliliter. Gordon's "A" bottle showed a concentration of 16 ng/ml, while his "B" registered a 13.6 ng/ml. The result was a failed test. If urine sample handlers would have by chance marked the "A" bottle "B" and the "B" bottle "A," then Gordon would be free to play. Gordon is appealing the ban, and his hearing will be held on Friday. There seems to be a decent chance he wins. Jul 29 - 2:21 PM

EDIT: I know he's a dumbass but how exciting would it be to have him for Week 1 in Pittsburgh? -
Lovejoy1984Whats crazy, is how strict the NFL is compared to pretty much everyone else.
The WADA's limit is 150 ng/ml, the limit to legally fly a plane is 50 ng/ml, and for most companies the limit is the same 50ng/ml, to prevent 2nd hand false positives. -
rrfanI would love to see him on the field. I just have a feeling They will through the book at him to look like they are tough on this drug testing. After missing on the Ray Rice ruling.

shook_17Im trying so hard not to get excited that we might dodge a bullet. BUT then it comes back to me that is CLE and we never dodge bullets.

royal_kBoth samples taken are at the levels of second hand smoke results. Seems that he and his lawyers have a valid argument. Also, his DUI cannot be used against him in this case. It is totally separate.

Lol, wasn't exactly saying that, but whatev. Anyways, Farmer wasn't the reason the Browns drafted Manziel. Haslam obviously made the call there.Commander of Awesome;1640017 wrote:Rookie had trouble first practice in pads? I'm shocked, fire ray farmer. -

IQQY also said the Browns purposely drafted johnny to set him up for a competition that is 100% fail guarantee, thus he most likely isn't even trying. That would explain his numbers today. -

Seems to be momentum gaining here for Gordon to win the appeal. -
SportsAndLadyHope he wins. This offense will be very good with him in there.

Just got done watching the NFL Network's review from Browns TC. Former GM, Charlie Casserly was ripping the Browns QB's saying he felt the "Browns QB of the future would be taken in next years' draft with the pick they acquired from the Bills." Was foaming at the mouth over Terrance West.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1640004 wrote:Johnny was unofficially 9 of 26 passing today. Yikes... Here's a minute by minute breakdown.

The panel (LT, Kurt Warner, etc) went on to say that starting JFF, Week 1, would be stupid because he will be facing three blitzing defenses and if he stinks out of the gate, you pretty much can't go back to Hoyer and the season will be lost. If they start the season with Hoyer and he sucks in the first three games, they can claim "getting a look at the potential future in Manziel." -

Also, wtf is going on with Phil Taylor? He has been working hard all off season, i don't understand why he can't pass the test. -

Dr. KnOiTaLLJosh Gordon's appeal will be 'all or nothing'
Josh Gordon's appeal will be "all or nothing," either resulting in no ban at all or a full-year suspension.
NFLPA spokesman Brian McCarthy confirmed to PFT that when the league's disciplinary penalties were established 20 years ago, "the union expressed the strong view that they needed to be stated and mandatory to ensure that all players be treated the same regardless of position, experience, level of ability, or competitive considerations." If the hearing officer determines the violation was "established," Gordon will be "bound" to the one-year suspension. In other words, Gordon's ban could not be reduced to six, eight, or ten games. If the hearing officer finds there was a violation of the league's drug policy, Gordon's one-year ban will stand. If no violation is established, Gordon will be free to play a 16-game schedule barring a short ban related to his July DUI arrest.

Good Gawd Dorkie relax...we're on. I don't come here everyday like you do. We need to send a check payable to cash and send it to a mod. Who do you trust here? After the 4th game, the Browns host Pittsburgh. I will bet you $100 that Johnny football starts that game againstDeyDurkie5;1640276 wrote:Footwedge 100 bucks. Quit punking out
