Weren't you saying they'd thrive in the eastern conference because it's less physical? lol.Classyposter58;1588856 wrote:Dead? Lol what the hell

edit: if they do make the playoffs they'll be bounced in 5 by either Boston or Pittsburgh. -

Haha their 8th and have been decimated by injuries all season. Good lord Franzen just came back and their top 4 centers (Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Weiss and Helm) are all out. Plus Howard has been injured for long periods of time as well, the fact we're even within striking distance is a miracle. If Dats or Z doesn't return soon we're gonna be in serious troubleRaw Dawgin' it;1588860 wrote:Weren't you saying they'd thrive in the eastern conference because it's less physical? lol.

Injuries happen to every team - they clearly have zero depth. Not to mention your "top" players are all old.Classyposter58;1588861 wrote:Haha their 8th and have been decimated by injuries all season. Haha you know nothing. They're a playoff team losing all of their star players. Haha if Krejci, Iginla, Lucic and Smith were all out for long periods of time Boston would not be close to their current position. If anything it speaks to the depth of the organization they can lose their top 3 forwards for huge amounts of time and still be a contender but Zetterberg and Datsyuk are better than any player Boston has honestly and considered by most around the game top 10 forwardsRaw Dawgin' it;1588890 wrote:Injuries happen to every team - they clearly have zero depth. Didn't say it was a sure thing but sure needed them. Have to get healthy soon, this season has been the most frustrating of any team I have ever followedqueencitybuckeye;1589124 wrote:Nice sure thing, ass face. -

lol Boston is durable, not filled with old glass jaw forwards. Detroit's problem isn't just their forwards (none have 20 goals), but they're 15th in goals against. You take away the Bruins players you just mentioned and they'd still win games because they keep pucks out of their net. Go look at your teams +/-, it's dog shit. Their old ass forwards being hurt isn't the problem, it's their crap defense.Classyposter58;1589167 wrote:Haha you know nothing. They're a playoff team losing all of their star players. Regardless, Wings players will be in prime golf form while the Bruins (and Blue Jackets for that matter) are on the ice.Classyposter58;1589167 wrote:Haha you know nothing. HereticWell, Detroit can still get 2 of those 4 "no reason they won't get points". Which would do a great job of keeping them right on that "first round elimination or early off-season" border.

End of LineClassy, Bergeron>Zetterberg. Also, don't play the injury card. Pens lead the league with nearly 400 man games lost.

Classyposter58
Eh but come on they've been playing forever without their top 3 forwards and it's not just anyone, you've got two elite players and a pretty good damn scorer out. Neal, Malkin and Crosby have played 187 games while Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Franzen have played only a 132 games. So the three Pens players I mentioned would have to miss 18 more games a piece just to equal that. I mean no way with those 3 out for that length of time would Pitt have 101 points by nowEnd of Line;1591192 wrote:Classy, Bergeron>Zetterberg. Also, don't play the injury card. It's just fun to see this bunch that have faced so much adversity, 7 of their current skaters began the season in the minors, and now they're in the catbirds seat for a playoff berth. Would have never guessed it -

Classyposter58What a win over Boston! Man Nyquist is the next Zetterberg, never believed he would score 28 goals in 50 games at this age
