And yeah maybe more physical is the wrong word even though the best defensive systems are in the West, but since the first lockout the west have won the head to head series every year
Baseball and the tigers have absolutely NOTHING to do with the NHL. Just stfu.

Haha shut up man you sound stupid as f*ck. If I wanna compare the Red Wings to the Patriots I can as well, believe it or not successful sports franchises can be compared across leagues

Lol the comparison starts and ends with success. Each sport has it's own personality and you have to work with that personality to gain success. An old veteran guy in a baseball clubhouse that is average or below average can be very helpful to a baseball team. Unfortunately he won't cut it for a football team if he isn't producing. Not to mention each league has it's own salary structure, I can go on and on. If you are going to compare how a team operates, stick to the same sport.

I am sure you will continue to masturbate to the tigers whenever you get the chance though. We have no idea you are a fan. /sarcasm

And an old washed up guy on the 3rd or 4th line isn't the same as a #8 hitter? Lol it can be made into a comparison

Not really, it's called comparing two unproductive players and why Holland protecting washed up guys will hurt not only now but a few years down the road. All I'm saying is you have one franchise in the town who has cut their ties and continued improving in an attempt to win a title, and this one which despite improvements continues to make some poor decisions. I mean jesus Cleary and Bertuzzi do not even have a point yet and they are a combined -5 and the line together is -8 which is 15 below the top line already

I had to read this twice, was shocked there wasn't a baseball reference.

I actually like that Detroit is in the same conference and division as the other original 6, minus chicago. I think it makes for great rivalries. I do think Boston has put themselves in a position to go deep in the playoffs again with Eriksson and Iggy. Solid two way play and some grit.

I also like that Howard is in the east, only fitting after watching him dominate at Maine.

    Joe Thornton is awesome...

"Hearing a question to Marleau about Hertl and whether he was showboating, Thornton said: “Shut up, have you ever played the game?”

When the press turned his way, he then added: “I’d have my **** out if I scored four goals. I’d have my **** out, stroking it.”
