Never to a Blackhawks game. Been to a couple bulls games but never Blackhawks. It's a tough ticket.

Gotcha, I went with my fiance over Christmas/New Years. It was the game they played the Blues and scored 7 goals in 2 periods. It was tough hearing fucking Chelsea Dagger so much as someone who is not a fan at all lol.

But, good food and beer, so well worth it!

Franzen took a deliberate shot at Boychuck in game 2, boarded him right in the numbers but there was no call. There are dirty plays in the playoffs all the time, so I don't look too much into it. $5k is a slap on the wrist so the league didn't even think it was a big deal.

Boston got beat to every puck in game 1 and couldn't slow the pace down. In game 2 they stepped their hitting up, got in front of Howard, and sustained pressure in the zone. I don't see Detroit being able to keep up with the physical play.
What doesn't help Lucic is that he's got a reputation. He did the same thing Emelin after a clean hip check that was put on him. I personally don't care for Lucic but I respect his skill.

Keith is a POS. Been known for a while has been suspended twice. Did this to Daniel Sedin a couple years ago.

Of course Raw wouldn't call him dirty. He's got those big homer glasses on

LOL at you calling anybody a homer.

He's had two suspensions, each for 1 game. I wouldn't classify that as dirty. You clearly didn't read my previous post.

Avatar bet or you still think your team sucks too much to win?

The new and improved Matt Cooke.

  • gorocks99
That guy is the biggest POS. Why the league lets him play when he's clearly a danger to other players is beyond me.
  • Raw Dawgin' it
Maybe someone can give him the Donald Brashear treatment

Not sure whats to be gained here...Marchand hit in left leg, but skates off keeping the weight off his right leg.

God Detroit has to get some offense going. Kinda sucks Franzen is playing so bad, if he could really develop some consistency than him, Datsyuk and Abdelkader could really be a hell of a line. Instead it's only one line really and a lot of nothing offensively

The wings got a gift in the game 1 win, the bruins had the flu otherwise this series would be a 4 game sweep. Boston was the best team in the NHL this season. Franzen sucks, he never will be a goal scorer at this level.

Abdelkader is a no name and their best offensive player right now, Franzen is old, and Datsyuk (aside from one goal) is no where to be found. Howard also did his best sieve impression on the Hamilton goal. Detroit also can't match the physical play of Boston and is getting dominated by their forecheck and doesn't have a forecheck of their own. Oh yeah, their power play is garbage.

    They did...then they choked.

54 and partly cloudy in Detroit on Sunday, great day for some golf for some supposed hockey players.

I feel like Boston currently is what Detroit can be in a couple years. Boston's whole team has showed up and played well, Detroit hasn't done jack on their secondary lines. The only reason Detroit has been competitive is surprisingly good defense, those 6 have played much above how they did in the season

Boston has 4 deep lines and all of them are physical. Detroit's best players are old and they're just not a physical team. Boston's entire team doesn't need to show up to win because they roll 4 lines capable of scoring. Detroit has 1 line that can score and that's what's killing them. When 1 line has 3 of your 4 goals, you have a problem. This series was 1 goal away from being a sweep.

So far in the NHL playoffs, a total of 10 games have gone to at least one overtime and of the four "division champs vs. wild card" series, three of them are 2-2 going into game 5 (with the fourth needing the better seed to come back, send it to OT and win there last night in order to not be in the same situation).

Nothing beats the NHL playoffs as far as pure excitement.

This. Any team that gets a hot goaltender has a shot at going far. This is why pitt seems to choke.

Big game 5 tonight in St. Louis. Chicago appears to have the momentum on their side. Now need to take a game in St. Louis.
  • GOONx19
More free hockey. These teams are so level.
  • SportsAndLady
    That was crazy

    Toews isn't missing from there
  • slingshot4ever
Need to close out this series back home in Chicago!

Bad pinch from the Blues defense and good change by Chicago led Captain Serious to that goal.
