Chicago takes it 3-1. Looking extremely solid.

If you switch Kane/Toews with Crosby/Malkin, Chicago would be the favorite to win every single year, hands down.

Anyone think Habs will take a run at Lundquist or Krieder?

They should. Habs are fucked now.

Only to fall apart/not show up in the playoffs as usual and cost the Blackhawks the Cup. No thank you. I'll stick with Kane/Toews who actually produce in the playoffs.

lol....your comment would make more sense if Crosby and Malkin didn't already have success, e.g. winning the fucking cup.

Crosby did suck it up this postseason, Malkin was ok, but they have more issues besides those two.

5 years of getting bounced to by a lesser team is unacceptable and changes need to be made.

Right now I'd like to see NY win it all. Lundquist is likable, can rip on the guitar, and people are just fired up for the team right now.

Not only did they win a cup, they did it against an absolutely loaded Red Wings team

LOL, classy always has to find a way to talk about Detroit. Nobody gives a fuck about Detroit little guy.
  • Automatik
They were better in '08 when they won it.

I miss that Pens squad. Loved Gonchar and Billy G.

I honestly don't see how you could cheer for a team in your own division to win the cup. I hope Montreal gets swept and then i hope the west fucks up the rangers.

I'm also pulling for Rick Nash. He's kind of coming around.

I think Chicago is winning it all anyway, but would be cool to see NY do it.

I dont want the Hawks to win it iwth that asshole Hossa.

With the Pens and Jackets out, hell, would root for a canadien team. Does that make me unAmerican?

Yes, especially a french speaking canadian team.

Good. That Detroit team was probably the second best offensive team since the lockout scoring 295 that season which would be 29 more than Anaheim this season. Definitely never thought that would Pittsburgh's last cup appearance

    God! STFU about Detroit already.

The lesser of all my evils is Chicago. Go Hawks!

Not the Canadiens, because they're Canadian.
Not the rangers, because fuck Rick Nash.
Not the Kings, because fuck Jeff Carter and fuck Gaborik. Gaborik gets traded and he remembers how to play an he's playing like he deserves the Conn Smyth.

I'm pulling for a sink hole during game 7 of the finals.

Growing up the Canadians were my home team. Barons had left and fuck anything out of Detroit/Michigan. We got CBC out of Windsor and the Habs or Leafs were on every Saturday night.

Yup. Crosby/Malkin on Chicago would look like this:

    Sharp-Crosby-Hossa
    Saad-Malkin-Shaw
    Bickell-Kruger-Versteeg
    Bollig-Regin-Smith

    Keith-Seabrook
    Hjalmarsson-Oduya
    Leddy-Rosival

    Crawford

Toews/Kane on the Pens would look like this:

    Kunitz-Toews-Kane
    Jokinen-Sutter-Neal
    Bennett-Goc-Stempniak
    Gibbons-Vitale-Adams

    Martin-Letang
    Maatta-Niskanen
    Orpik-Bortuzzo

    Fleury

Looks to me as if the Blackhawks would steam roll the league while Toews/Kane on the Pens would struggle to make the playoffs.

    Chicago PP with Crosby/Malkin:

    Sharp-Crosby-Hossa
    Keith-Malkin

    Pit PP with Toews/Kane:

    Neal-Toews-Kane
    Niskanen-Letang
  • SportsAndLady
Not a big hockey guy, but you Pittsburgh losers enjoy malkin and crosby

LA vs NY in the finals?...pretty good for the NHL to have 2 massive markets in the finals.
