    Nope, Yorkville OHIO. Thanks.

You're welcome? I see you've kept my hometown in your records.

There's a much "classier" gambling joint on Wheeling Island.

Been there. It sucks. Two hour drive and the slots are tighter than Hell (there's a joke in there).

Thanks for creeping, really. I actually forgot to thank you a while back. My privacy settings were wayyyy too lax at that time.

Yeah, Wheeling Island is awful. I still find myself there occasionally when I'm home visiting. We used to love betting on the dog races bag in the day.

I hear Columbus' new place is pretty nice, but shitty location. I've yet to check it out.

We want to hit Columbus but it's 3 hours away. My girlfriend keeps bugging me about going to the Meadows over in a suburb of Pittsburgh but I could see jail time for myself heading into enemy territory. Mountaineer's bad enough with all of the black & yellow. :)

...because it was used in the post I responed to. It was that poster's word to describe the supporting a particular team....not mine.

The Meadows is nothing great, the best thing about that area are the Tanger outlets.

I believe they have tables at the Meadows now though, not 100%....haven't been there in a while.

We've heard the machines are looser. Can't go to the Rivers because that's right next to Ketchup Field. I'd probably end up in prison if I took that trip. I'm a bit of an asshole around Steeler fans that I don't know.

For sure. I like the Browns, Wolverines, Heat, and Reds. Yep, I picked my teams because they are winners! Lol

There's the point. You don't get to pick. Show some pride in where you're from, family history, and state. Picking a team = bandwagon regardless of the reasons. Every bandwagoner has a story though for why they got to pick/choose and its ok.
  • Automatik
    I agree, I didn't even have a choice.

I did "pick" Arsenal though, but fuck it. Anything is better than United. They, IMO, are the biggest "bandwagoned" team in all of sports.

Isn't there a casino in Cleveland?

You can pick, but you'll always be looked at as a bandwagoner with weak loyalties IMO. Second class fan.

Yeah. We hope to hit that in February but I've heard horror stories about security issues. Guy told us his wife was on a machine, had to go to the bathroom so she told her friend to play it while she was gone, lady hit for $10k and some lady three rows of machines behind her saw it, ran over and tried to pull out her hair screaming "you're not getting out of here alive with that money." Have heard a few other stories too.

We're also waiting for Thistledown & Northfield (new Hard Rock) to get their machines in. They are opening a Casino in Austintown (closest to me) in 2014.

Sorry to derail the thread with my gambling "issues." Back to bandwagoning....

Sorry I am a loyal fan didn't mean to hurt your feelings. You can root for who you want to, but I don't consider you a real fan. If that hurts your little feelz, idgaf. thanks

And there's #2 coming in for the backup with the "you disagree, so you're butthurt"! I haven't seen this before! No, I don't care what you think. Why the hell would I give a rat's ass about what someone I never have, nor ever will, meet on an anonymous message board thinks? Lolfail. Oh gosh, now I'm butthurt because you think I care what you think! Right? Glad you can discuss the topic.
