Really? I mean ... not to get too into my story, but here's my basic timeline:

    Minnesota: birth-2 years old
    Pennsylvania: 2-11 years old
    Ohio: 11-16 years old
    Wisconsin: 17-18 years old
    Minnesota: 18-22 years old
    Massachusetts: 22-25 years old
    Illinois: 25-27 years old

I don't really identify with my place of birth because if someone asks me where I'm from I have a tough time saying "Minnesota."

My dad was born in Iowa (moved in I think middle school to Minnesota) and my mom in Wisconsin (lived in Milwaukee up until she was 18). Dad still lives in Minnesota, mom in Wisconsin.

Well that explains your fanhood to GB.

It's the definition of 2 people, not everyone

Yea I'd say not a bandwagoner. Sounds like his family were GB fans long before Rodgers was in the SB. If he didn't care/follow GB or rooted for another team prior to that then a Bandwagon fan. However if he was a Falcon fan for instance, there is no justification, he'd be a bandwagoner.

    And you admit it?

Some Fanatics have a more legitimate reason to root for the teams that they root for.

I'd have no problem with someone from Findlay following the Steelers, Kettering or Fremont following the Packers.

So by the OC rules, you are not allowed to be a fan of any pro team.

Just giving you the business. We go down to Mountaineer (45 minute drive) all of the time. In fact, we'll be there tonight.

I think when a local kid gets drafted by a team you may be more likely to find the younger kids finding themselves a new team to follow and be a fan of. The older folks, they already have their teams and wont change their allegiances. However...they may start to follow that team more and it may become their second fav team. A number of kids around our area have made it to the pros..Chargers, Skins, Eagles, STeelers, Raiders, Lions, Padres etc. You start to see some people wearing that gear but it mostly isnt their fav team..just one they follow more now that a local kid is on the team

I know I was a mets fan for a fwe yaers in the 80s when a guy from our town was drafted by them in the 3rd round. It lasted about as long as he was in the minors. Plus..they were good back then too. Remember him telling me a few times I didnt wanna know some of the stuff about Gooden, Strawberry etc. OF course we all eventuall found out!

Technically I did. WV is right across the river and about a 6 mile drive.. It's all about proximity. Invisible state borders mean nothing.
