People may disagree, but I like McCarron. I was very impressed with the throws he made in the NC game, and he's already a pro style QB.Pick6;1372930 wrote:at a quick first thought, cant think of anybody besides Bridgewater and Manziel, and both of them will only be in their third year. I worry about Murray's size in the NFL.CLEconomically Speaking;1372972 wrote:I like Aaron Murray way better than McCarron -

15 months out, it is these two projected to go #2 & #3 in 2014.Pick6;1372930 wrote:at a quick first thought, cant think of anybody besides Bridgewater and Manziel, and both of them will only be in their third year. Not a fan of Boyd really. -

People worried about Brees and Wilson's size, too. Size is one of the last things I look at when evaluating a QB (as long QB's height isnt some extreme outlier) I just dont see it as of big of a deal as some people make it out to be. Smaller QB's have been throwing over bigger lineman their whole life. Seemed Weeden gets just as many, if not more passed batted than McCoy. I've saw people knock on Murray's arm strength, but I know he threw the deep ball pretty damn well in the bowl game. Cant believe I forgot about him.se-alum;1372975 wrote:I worry about Murray's size in the NFL.

Wilson is extremely good at finding throwing lanes and Brees is a freak of nature so he can't really be compared to shorter QB's. The reason I say this is that Brees has a ridiculous wingspan. His wingspan is longer than many O-Linemen. When he releases the ball over the top, he's projected at 6'4" instead of the 6' that he is. If a shorter guy is good at finding the throwing lanes, he should be fine. GM's just tend to shy away from shorter guys.Pick6;1373003 wrote:People worried about Brees and Wilson's size, too. Crimson streakMurray is a definite no for me. He is I believe 3-20 something vs top 25 teams and has worse arm strength than McCoy. I say wait a year and then se the farm for bridgewater next year. Dude is a complete stud

shook_17The more I am hearing I wouldn't be surprised if the browns went QB in the first round. I really want Weeden to be successful here in Cleveland because I am tired of the revolving door here. But with that being said I see Chud and Turner wanting to hit their wagon to a QB they can have 10 years. I really don't see Turner getting another HC gig anytime soon. I saw Tyler Wilson has been the star at the Senior bowl. And honestly I can't blame Chud and company for choosing their OWN QB. Just makes Holmgren and Heckert look that much worse and a wasted fucking 1st round pick yet again. But hey whats one more?
Chud also said the browns will run a hybrid defense with the 3-4 and 4-3 which I like, different defenses for different situations.
Also I know its not browns related but did you guys see Frank Gore was fined 10,500 dollars for have his socks to low in the NFC Championship game but Goodell doesn't do shit about FedEx field that cost two good players an ACL? What a fucking joke. -
Pick6I think the only guy I would want to take at 6 would be Geno. Wilson is intriguing, though. He didnt play much this year with the concussion, but looked pretty good the year before. I heard the NC State QB is being called the most pro-ready in the draft.
Frank Gore fine was retarded. Who else tore their ACL? -
MulvaIf we took Glennon I would turn on this regime immediately.

I was definitely high on Wilson and Murray from Georgia.. What a disappointment he was this past year. Geno scares me he started off hot but cooled off I watched his bowl game and I want to say he gave up two safeties, which makes me worried about his pocket awareness.Pick6;1373189 wrote:I think the only guy I would want to take at 6 would be Geno. I want to say it was D linemen from Seahawks. I swear there was two players.
EDIT:
I remember when the called Robiskie the most "pro-ready" wide out haha

Smith was absolutely horrible the bowl game. I dont think he really cooled off, they just started losing games. Offense finished 8th in ppg. The defense might have been the worst I have ever seen. Still led the NCAA in TDs, 3rd in yards, only 6 ints. Second best in the NCAA in completion % as well.shook_17;1373200 wrote:I was definitely high on Wilson and Murray from Georgia.. shook_17Jets opening to trading Darrell Revis. Id love him and Joe Haden if he would actually sign a contract and stick to it.

It's possible that they change QB's but it's too early to tell what they are thinking. Keep in mind, "smokescreen" season is coming up and if they like Weeden they probably aren't going to tip their hat (to keep teams guessing about the #6 pick/trade down?) and if they hate Weeden they probably aren't tipping their hat to that either.shook_17;1373183 wrote:The more I am hearing I wouldn't be surprised if the browns went QB in the first round. This. Think about who's behind us: Cards Bills Jets. If we appear to be taking a QB, esp one that these teams are interested in, we could trade down just a spot or two and still get the guy we actually want while additionally picking up an extra draft pick. Best case, Tyler Wilson performs well at the combine and the Browns end up on the right side of a bidding war.BR1986FB;1373538 wrote:It's possible that they change QB's but it's too early to tell what they are thinking. Cribbs is only nice if he can use you to profit financially. -
RotinajCribbs went from one of my favorite players to a whiny bitch.

Commander of AwesomeI'm surprised by Cribbs. Met him a few times living in Berea, even had a poster signed by him hanging in my house. SMH at him being a POS.
