2013 Cleveland Browns Thread: RIP Chud

• Laley23
I'm also saying cutler is option #2...not a pass completely. Preferably go get the franchise guy early in the draft. But if they decide they don't think there is a ugh worth drafting...then I'd go after a FA with cutler being tops on the list.

Does everyone realize by now that taking a QB later in the draft (aka, not the first or 2nd QB taken) just doesn't work for the Browns.

We just don't have the talent evaluation to hit on a Russell Wilson or Kaepernick.
Gotcha. I'm fine with Cutler if they still are willing to take Teddy or Bortles if they are still there with the first pick. If they picked up Cutler (and didn't draft a QB or drafted one late), he would just lead the Browns to mediocrity, which is the worst place you can be in the NFL.

The browns this year with cutler would not be mediocre imo

Well you're looking at Weeden/Campbell starting half of the games because Cutler is a puss who misses half the season every year, so it still probably wouldn't have been that great.

Nice logic there

Cutler is not coming to Cleveland. So all that nonsense can just stop.

Also all over twitter about Chud. Grossi is saying bad vibes around the organization about his job. Also Chris Mortenson

Not sure what Chud was supposed to do. Jason Campbell was his best option at QB....the most important position on the field, paired with a 3rd string guard and a corpse for a RB.

If any should go, its someone in the front office...OR...we should give this whole regime another year to fix the walrus' mess.

Lombardi needs to be gone. Jarvis jones is making some plays today. Glad Mingo is doing the same. Also McFadden is looking great. Can't wait for the scmucks to blow our two 1st round picks

SMH, we went from things looking up after beating the bills, to this http://www.waitingfornextyear.com/2013/12/nfl-rumor-is-rob-chudzinski-possibly-on-the-hot-seat/

Do not fire him if you can't get a legit replacement.

I highly doubt the browns are looking to fire chud though. I am looking for this "article" that shook speaks of, but can't find it. Shook is doing his best BR junior impersonation.

this made me lol. Guess I was right. Always trying to bash people

I don't think he was trying to bash you...we know you're a good poster, just a lot of people on here over the last few years would post shit without a link, and everyone would fall for it. And it would be a load of shit.

Like that was just looking for a link, that's all

lol, yeah I was definitely not trying to bash shook. Didn't mean to hurt your feelz shook.

Just saw an article on espn Cleveland. Haslam said the lose to the jets was a sore spot. Felt the team quit. Ughhhhh oh

@rapsheet:On #Browns: Dissatisfaction with Rob Chudzinski from up high is real, from what I hear. Effort issues, accountability issues. One to watch2:07pm - 29 Dec 13

D'Qwell not happy about the Chud rumors.

Ryan Lewis ‏@RyanLewisABJ 50m D'Qwell says Chud was the right hire and he's had the players' attention since day 1. #Browns

Ryan Lewis ‏@RyanLewisABJ 11m
DQ: That's crazy. That pisses me off in a sense, that someone would write something about a guy who's...That's it, that's all I have to say

Ryan Lewis ‏@RyanLewisABJ 5m
DQ: It was on the players this year. We didn't win the games to let people know how good of a coach he was. It fell on the players this year

Firing a coach after 1 year unless he is just a complete POS is stupid. I just don't see it happening.
• IggyPride00
Joe Banner is exactly who we knew he was, and yet we hired him anyway.

This guy is a piece of human garbage. Not shocked he and Haslam have formed such a tight bond.

From OBR:

[h=4]On Chud[/h]

When replying to my questioning on Chud's status, a member of the Browns organization texted back stating..... the HC position will be replaced.

Why would anyone want to come coach in Cleveland if that is the way the front office treats coaches?

My thoughts exactly.

Well hopefully the coaches we would be bringing in, wouldn't win 4 games with 5 pro bowlers.
• SportsAndLady
By the way..I don't think they fire Chud. And don't think he should be fired.
• like_that
I have a feeling he is getting fired. Hopefully it is because they have a big name that wants to come in, and not because Haslam wants to do his best Al Davis act.
