2013 Cleveland Browns Thread: RIP Chud

LOL at using one game to support your argument for a whole conference. Come on you can do a lot better than that. Also Dalton Vs Schaub, there is no comparison right now. Schaub is by far the better QB than Dalton.Azubuike24;1490062 wrote:I'm not going to say you guys are wrong, it's just a strange stance to take and say "the whole AFC is down" when they just won the Super Bowl.
Also, "down" is a relative term. 6 teams from each league make the playoffs, so it doesn't matter if the bottom 6 of the 12 playoffs teams are AFC teams, it's going to come down to an NFC vs AFC Super Bowl and winner take all.
As for Houston, I have the complete opposite stance. If you question Andy Dalton, how do you not question Matt Schaub? What has he ever done? They also don't have a "nasty offense." Their offense has some talent, but it's certainly not even in the top 5, let alone considered nasty. Hard not to question Johnson, Foster and Daniels in-terms of durability either.
Indy, while they had a great year last and certainly have a bright future, to assume they will end up "improved" is foolish. I'd bet they don't even win 10, let alone improve. They might be a better team, but on-field success may not show it.
Let me also say that I think Baltimore clearly falls, Pittsburgh is around the same (or slightly better) while the Bengals and Browns have the best potential in the North to exceed what they did a year ago.
Anyway this thread is about the Browns. Nobody gives a fuck about the bengals and their fair weather fans. If you want to discuss the Bengals, I suggest going to page 25+ in the pro sports forum, and bring back the Bengals thread from the dead. I am sure OSU2309823092039 and turdo can provide some intelligent insight on the bengals (LOL). -
Commander of Awesomelol WGAF about the bungals? Certaintly not their fans, they have blacked out playoff games. lolfail. Can't wait til they give Dalton a big contract.
Anyways back on topic I'm slightly concerned about Dez Bryant's back, anyone read about his spasms? The only thing I've read is that they dont THINK he'll need surgery. -

Wait, what? -
Azubuike24While I'm a Bengals fan (not fairweather either), the discussion was brought about the entire AFC North and AFC in general. Both include the Browns.
Then COA brings up Dez Bryant?
Oh well. -

I will agree with wildcats comments... WHAT? I had not heard anything about that regarding Bryant.Commander of Awesome;1490075 wrote:lol WGAF about the bungals? Certaintly not their fans, they have blacked out playoff games. lolfail. Can't wait til they give Dalton a big contract.

I was going to post some stuff to reply to Auto's comment but I will refrain and keep this just about the Browns. (Except for my comment above just cause CoA mentioned it). -
BR1986FBWouldn't this be strange? "49ERS SIGN QB SENACA WALLACE, COLT MCCOY’S ROSTER SPOT COULD BE IN TROUBLE." (sorry for caps...cut & pasted that title) I've heard that McCoy probably isn't making that roster but wouldn't it be ironic if he lost the spot to Wallace?

Not really.
But I could definitely see where you would find it funny. -

Not the Cowboys WR, a DE for the Browns. They call him dez but I should have put his full name so not to confuse ppl.wildcats20;1490080 wrote:Wait, what? -

Last comment on the Texans/Bengals comments. This isn't even close. A lot of Bengals fans (I know, I laughed too because there's only three of them) aren't sold on Dalton. He's going to have to make a monumental leap, which I don't see happening, to be a championship caliber QB.
People seem to be forgetting that Houston was the odds on favorite to rep the AFC in the Super Bowl before Cushing went down with that injury. That made a HUGE impact on their defense and they were pretty pedestrian after that. If he (Cushing) comes back at full strength this year, that will be right back at the top. -

Your hatred of McCoy knows no bounds. I wouldn't be surprised if you have Colt McCoy toilet paper.BR1986FB;1490371 wrote:I know and I said "I'm not the only one" meaning I wouldn't be the only one to get a chuckle out of it. -

Not really. I'm sure he's a great guy, as a person, but he's not an NFL starting QB, like many thought. From what it's looking like, he may not be an NFL QB, period.derek bomar;1490411 wrote:Your hatred of McCoy knows no bounds. I wouldn't be surprised if you have Colt McCoy toilet paper. -

None of our QBs we've ever fucking had except for like 5 were nfl starting QBs. I don't see you bashing and laughing at their every move. -

Commander of AwesomeI was crunching some numbers this morning on Montario Hardesty as I was debating who we're going to bring in to back up Trent Richardson. Montario avgs 38.25 carries a yr for his career and has an avg of 3.5 yds per carry. Can we cut this fucking bum already and bring in a decent back up RB? Think about him from a non browns perspective, if the browns brought in a guy who sucked this hard would you guys be so nice about it?

There has to be someone out there who is an upgrade over him. Hell, the Steelers just traded with Philly for Felix Jones. I'd rather have Jones over Hardesty.Commander of Awesome;1490436 wrote:I was crunching some numbers this morning on Montario Hardesty as I was debating who we're going to bring in to back up Trent Richardson. Commander of AwesomeDion Jordan's status for Dolphins' opener in doubt
I was hoping to watch Joe Thomas pwn the rookie, but all well. Guess we only have Wake to account for now.
