Yes Con, they'll clearly play. Not surprised my comment went over your head.

Playing or not was not the point of my comment. How much, was. I used your post to play off of in order to make my poiny.

    Thanks for noticing.

You have to be the most annoying person in real life to hang out with.

Coa was simply saying he would prefer they not play anymore preseason games so no one gets hurt. He obviously knows the 3rd preseason game is the game the starters play the most in. And he knows they'll play a small amount in the 4th game.

Now kindly shut your literal fucking mouth.

I understodd quite well what he preferred. I simply stated what my belief was regarding playing time....obviously.

    I respectfully decline your request.

Valuable contributions to the thread...hopefully you fuck yourself by the start of the season and disappear.

Is view it as having similar value as COA post did.

I'll be here on and off throughout the season.

I bet Hoyer gets a lot of snaps in the 4th preseason game.

    /Con failspond.

I hope he makes the roster. His parents are nice people. I don't see it happening though.

Moffitt deal seems like shades of Broderick Bunkley as after the trade was voided the Donks trade for Moffitt.

Fins released CB Richard Marshall who was someone I was hoping the Browns would target in FA awhile back. Not overly confident in the corner position opposite of Haden. Marshall may be a tad too old for this regimes tastes though.

I'm excited to watch the defense this Saturday against a good Colts' first team offense. Probably will see that matchup for the entire first half.

Defense has played well the first 2 preseason games.

It's nice to see the offense playing well, but the defense is what is going to make this team an above .500 team. If they can be a top 10 scoring defense, you gotta think even an average to above-average offense will put up 8+ wins. If the defense is still bottom of the pack, the offense will need to be spectacular to reach .500.

Just read that the starters will play into the 3rd quarter, but Richardson not as much. Also Gibson will start at FS and David Nelson may play.

My friend thinks Weeden will pass for 24+ tds. He has a bet with a friend weeden vs kap, and the guy is spotting weeden 7 tds. Who wins this bet?

Sounds about right +7. If Kap gets hurt running out of the pocket, that would help his odds.

    Hope Jaws is right....

Jaworski: "Weeden Best QB This Preseason"

ON ESPN this morning, Ron Jaworski, who I think is a highly reputable evaluator of talent, had some interesting comments about the Browns.
On Brad (Brandon....dumbasses) Weeden: "No QB in the league has played better this pre-season."

Jaws noted that he went back and looked at every throw Weeden made last season and he came away positive about his future. "Being a rookie QB in the NFL is tough, despite some of the things we saw from RGIII, Luck and Wilson, but Weeden and Tannehill quietly put together good seasons."

A highly interesting insight is that after looking at all the film of Weeden, Jaws, who lives in Philly and played for the Eagles and knows Joe Banner very well, texted Banner and told him: "I think Brandon Weeden can be your QB of the future."

Jaws speculated that the Browns saw that, too, and that is why they didn't get a QB in the draft. (My own view is that Jaws is wrong about thinking the Browns really liked Weeden going in to this spring, or they wouldn't have accumulated extra picks for the 2014 draft.)

In summing up about the Browns, Jaws said: "I think we're now seeing light at the end of the tunnel for the Browns."

Some good news for Browns fans when Jaws says these things.

That's a pretty interesting bet. I don't see Kap throwing for 7 more TDs than Weeden, especially with the 49ers lack of talent at receiver.

I like your friends chances. Kaep will run for TDs so that will hurt his passing TDs and Michael Crabtree being out will hurt as well. I'd take Weeden +7 against any QB outside of Rodgers, Brees, Peyton, and Brady off the top of my head.

If its only passing TD's id take Weeden +7 all day. If the bet is total TDs id still give the edge to Weeden but it would be a much tougher decision.

Is it just passing TDs? I'd easily take Weeden. If it counts rushing then I'd say it will be close but still I like Weeden to win it.

Jaws was saying good things about Weeden before training camp even began.

I got a bet with my buddy that's a steelers fan that Cleveland has a better record than the steelers. He kept mentioning 6 Super Bowl titles lol go figure, that has so much to do with this season lmao. He said that weeden will suck bc he doesn't have a good tight end. I just told him to wait and see lol

^ that guy knows lotz about sports.

    LOL.

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/08/21/browns-greg-little-josh-gordon-have-unacceptable-driving-records/

Gordon pulled over going 98 in a 60.

Little got pulled over going 81 in a 60 on Monday. Today, he hits a guardrail and pole, and admits to the cop he was going 127 prior.

Maybe they were on their way to meet Aroldis Chapman for a few cold ones in Columbus.
