But if we move to the 3-4 we will need another MLB Te'o would be sick with DQ. I saw an article that said Haslam prefers the 3-4, take it for what its worth.Commander of Awesome;1356759 wrote:Also we have DQ, not worth the pick. Also don't think Te'o is near the prospect that Luke Kuechly is/was. -

LOL, what article was this? Haslam is not going to make those type of decisions.shook_17;1356761 wrote:But if we move to the 3-4 we will need another MLB Te'o would be sick with DQ. I saw an article that said Haslam prefers the 3-4, take it for what its worth. -

Not an article but a tweet I saw posted on OBR forums from Mark Kay Cabot.like_that;1356768 wrote:LOL, what article was this? Haslam is not going to make those type of decisions.

# Browns' Haslam seems to favor 3-4 defense, which Cards' Ray Horton runs, league source said. -

You didn't respond to his question. If stats lie, then what say you of Weeden's 45% completion rate under pressure that Scouts, Inc. reported?shook_17;1356752 wrote:yet you want to draft a qb in the first round for the next 5 years. lol. your hate for weeden is simply amazing. you would rather be right and watch the browns lose. -

He's seen it work in Pittsburgh, but I think going to a 3-4 would be a waste of the talent on our D-line. Unless you move Sheard to an OLB spot, one of: Sheard, Rubin, Taylor, or Winn would have to be on the bench, and I don't like that unless we can address the pass rushing OLB spot of the 3-4 this offseason and keep Sheard in the DL rotation. -

Does Haslam have any football experience? I mean I like the guy, but I don't want him trying to become a jerry jones. Just let the experts handle those type of decisions. Browns do not have the personnel for a 3-4, and they sucked ass when they tried to run a 3-4.mucalum49;1356772 wrote:Not an article but a tweet I saw posted on OBR forums from Mark Kay Cabot.

Exactly, they are wasting a couple drafts of d line depth if they move to a 3-4.lhslep134;1356776 wrote:He's seen it work in Pittsburgh, but I think going to a 3-4 would be a waste of the talent on our D-line. Crimson streakHonestly I would like o Brian more than Kelly
-
se-alumI think Kelly has a better shot at success in Philly, but Cleveland may throw more power and money at him. I'm not really sold on O'Brien, but we'll see.
-
hangonsloopyI would be happy with either one of them. I feel like O'Brien is safer and Kelly is more boom or bust.

He would be like my fifth choice, solid but not spectacular.Benny The Jet;1356579 wrote:http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8803627/cleveland-browns-interview-ken-whisenhunt-head-coaching-job-doug-marrone-chip-kelly-next
This is the first I've heard of Whisenhunt being looked at. What's everyone's thoughts on him? Out of all of the candidates, he'd be my pick. His defenses were always pretty nasty, just needs a semi-competent QB and he succeeded. -
shook_17I would definitely be happy with either BOB or kelly. Another name being tossed around is Brian Kelly, now that would be interesting. I'm not saying he is being associated with Cleveland but being tossed around in NFL circles.

Brian Kelly isn't going anywhere. Even though I think he would be successful in the nfl. He's a college guy through and through -

I doubt that, however I don't see him going anywhere this year.Crimson streak;1356840 wrote:Brian Kelly isn't going anywhere. Even though I think he would be successful in the nfl. He's a college guy through and through -

hasbeenChip Kelleys one word offense intrigues me. I've never read about it. I've seen how quick they go and was always curious.
As a coach, I want to go to one of his clinics. -

No, actually you can't. -
Midstate01Can BOB really be faulted for wanting to leave psu?? He got those kids to believe in him, but good luck doing that for the next 3 years with scholly reductions and such. Granted, him leaving would basically be the death penalty for them. But fuck pedi state and their sick fans. I'm pretty sure they grew up in Steubenville

Especially considering penn st told o'brian they wouldn't get any NCAA penalties considering it was a legal matter. -
SportsAndLadyI know I shouldn't judge a coach off one game..but I'm watching Oregon/KSU and I'm going to say no thanks on Chip Kelly. Give me BOB.
