I didn't say they were SO bad...I said it's pretty pathetic to take any positive away from an offense putting up 20 points when they received 8 turnovers.

I mean I understand why you're spinning this though, so don't worry.

And I didn't say the offense was a juggernaut. They did enough to win. That's all that matters.

I mean I understand why you're doing your typical bashing though, so don't worry.

Yeah I'm bashing our offense for putting up 20 points after getting 8 turnovers from the defense. So what? Whats pathetic is your backing of the offense just because your bff is running it. He can literally do no wrong in your eyes, its comical

Three of the turnovers resulted in 'hand off and punt' or the end of the game. Of the five that needed offensive scoring, we got 17 points (3 of 5), with TDs on two that were near scoring position to begin with.

However, I do agree on defense we weren't that aggressive. We did attack the ball and kept knocking it loose. And we did benefit from a 3rd string QB throwing three picks (two of them were clearly his fault, the one was a tipped ball to Winn). In the end, our defense did what I felt it was going to do. Only scoring by Pissburgh was a lucky bounce INT return and a prevent-defense-fueled TD to end the first half. If we had attacked on D in that drive and gotten the bounce to go elsewhere on the tip, we would be looking at a shutout. And probably the score would get further out of hand than 20 points.

But, in the end. I'll take it. We've lost a lot of ugly games, so it's good to win an ugly one, too.

Really? Because I have called him out when he looked like complete & utter shit (Philadelphia). Some of us realize that the guy is a R-O-O-K-I-E who is going to make rookie mistakes. Just because he's 29, that doesn't mean he should be treated like a 10 year vet. So he gets a pass from me. Next year he won't.

Believe me, I've had more than my share of 'God dammit, Weeden moments" while watching these games but I'm not going to have a kneejerk reaction over a rookie QB.

Has he been RGIII or Luck? No, but I've seen enough to know they can move forward with him as their QB next year. If he doesn't improve in his second year, which most QB's should, next....

Unlike you, I'm not willing to just settle for "any" QB, as long as it's not Weeden. Unless there's a SIGNIFICANT upgrade in this draft, which there's not, you ride him out another year and hope he develops. You don't just change QB's for the sake of change.

You're a fucking hypocrite.."you don't change QBs for the sake of change!....oh wait I hated McCoy. Who was a first year starter. Who didn't get a training camp. Who was more successful than Weeden."

    Dirty dirty hypocrite.

McCoy got TWENTY-TWO starts. That's a season and a half. It would be one thing if the guy showed that he could make all of the throws, could throw into tight windows, etc but he didn't. Had this regime stuck with him as the starter, all of my McCoy "rants" would've been hot air. But they agreed with me and moved on from him.

And they didn't "change QB's for the sake of change." Anyone here, besides a few, think McCoy is a franchise QB? The front office didn't so they moved on.

lolololololololo what a cry baby bitch. Im proud to say I am on of those fans that flip the opposing teams fans off and shout foul language at them. Sucks to suck hoe

I find that to be pretty funny...I'm sure all of the Steelers fans treat Browns fans as kings when they go to Heinz field. What a joke. Steelers fans are some of the cockiest fans I've ever seen/met and I'm sure if they somehow beat trh Browns on Sundays they would have been giving Browns fans "the finger" and cussing at them...typical fan of the Steelers being "butthurt"

When I was 5 at Municipal, not even in Pitt, a Steelers fan "spilled" beer on me. My dad put him in a chokehold until security officers removed that douche and his friend.

Like you guys have said, anyone who expects courteous treatment from the enemy is hilariously naive.

Call me a classless asshole, but I am glad fans are treating scumbug steelers fans like that. I don't want to see any of those fuckers in Cleveland. As Cribbs told Steelers fans this past sunday, "go home."

Not likely. Don't see them taking on the balance of his five-year, $28 million contract he signed in July 2011
