[h=5]With Joe Haden the Browns are 2-2 giving up 16 points per game. Without 0-4 allowing 30.5 ppg. (via @gdowning14)

    Love this quote from Taylor.
Browns defensive tackle Phil Taylor said he expects to make his season debut Sunday against Ravens after being sidelined with a torn pectoral muscle. Taylor, who's wearing a harness over his left shoulder, indicated that he probably won't start. "They might roll me in just for this first game, so I can just get back in the swing of things," Taylor told the Akron Beacon Journal. "I’ve got to earn it. I haven’t played this year yet. What I did last year was last year. So I’ve gotta get in there this year and earn my spot.” Ahtyba Rubin (calf), the Browns' other starting defensive tackle, didn't practice Wednesday.

Ironic that Hurricane Sandy washed up pieces of the old Municipal Stadium in Bratenahl, where Jimmy Haslam just purchased a home....

This draft doesn't "wow" me that much. If we're in the top 3 of 4 I wouldn't mind moving down and getting extra picks...

Amen, brother. Stack the defense with playmakers.

There might not be "wow" type offensive players, but there is an abundance of defensive talent coming this year.

    7. Two coaches lose theirs before the season ends, but their names are not Andy Reid or Norv Turner. Instead, I think it'll be two less prominent coaches — Chan Gailey of Buffalo and Pat Shurmur of Cleveland. Both are locally unpopular offensive gurus who haven't led a good offense in years (or ever) and who have struggled to develop their quarterback of choice into very much. Shurmur's the pick of an old ownership and management team, making him basically irrelevant, and Gailey's the one who will be scapegoated for the dismal Mario Williams signing and how it failed to strike up the Buffalo defense. Other coaches will be fired, too, but I don't expect Shurmur or Gailey to make it through the season.

Lee hasnt gotten a lot of hype until this season. Woods MADE Barkley, if anyone did.

im saying this year. lee is having an unreal year.

also chip kelly's offense already has 34 points in the first half. if pat shurmur fails. id love to have this guy here. his offense is great. he is creative and knows how to use his players. i know he will need to change his offense but im sure he can adapt.

EDIT: doesn't wood have problems catching the ball?
