Of the five, 3 are at or near MVP caliber, one is still up in the air, and one was a bust.

    2010 - Wall
    2009 - Blake Griffin
2008 - Derrick Rose(small debate with Beasley, but no real suspense about who would be #1)
2007 - Oden and Durant both fell into the category of franchise changing players in most people's minds
    2006 - none(poor draft)

So one player in those drafts make it a strong draft?

We can call this a weak draft if none of these players pan out, but its way too early to call this draft weak. But that's why I make the big bucks and most of you will be poor and stupid the rest of your mediocre lives.

Irving is 1000x the player Wall is, Wall would be taken 14th in this draft.

Bogut is the 2nd best center in the League.

    Link?

He's never even made an all star game. And the best he can do is make NBA 3rd team LOL

I agree, but you need a partner and some value. This is the stuff that comes out in the next few weeks.....were there trades that failed?! I usually like listening to the sportstalk stations to hear all the draft night rumors.

Al Horford, Joakim Noah, Brooke Lopez, Al Jefferson....

Not necessarily, thought it helps. Was just answering your question about if the drafts has consensus franchise changers, which most of them did. This is a significant difference from this draft.

I don't have one, I'm just making shit up because clearly that's all you're doing to.

I'm still waiting for a link that PROVES the draft is weak, and that your opinion is relevant and credible.

    Irving will be an all-star.

You can't judge a draft until at least 5 years from now.

Bottom line, you guys are weak minded and can't think for yourselves.

I need a link to prove that Wall wouldnt get drafted til 14th in this super strong draft class though

Couldn't agree more. He only played eight games as a true freshman before the injury. Had little or no time to adjust and improve at the college game. Franchise-caliber player. Excellent pick, imo.

Link to Bogut being the second best center?

You can't prove a draft is weak before the players ever set foot on an NBA court obviously. But all draft discussion is related to how the players/the draft as a whole might turn out. If you don't like that sort of thing, why would you keep posting in a thread about the NBA draft?

Exactly even if you can't find a trade partner the night of the draft, you at least pick the guy who is highest on the big board. That way you can maximize value. I just thought they reached big time right there.

They got lucky that the Clippers are run by morons and that Irving fell into their lap

Nope, I admitted to making that up, I'm asking for a link that proves this is a weak draft, despite ZERO of these players playing a minute in the NBA.

Unless you have a magic ball that tells you all these players are not going to be franchise players, then you're opinion is ruined and you don't know what you are talking about(read: you can't think for yourself).

You made the claim, and you are the weak minded one calling this draft weak.
  • Hb31187
Haha you claim my opinion doesnt matter bc i cant think for myself. Yet ask me for links to other peoples thoughts to prove my opinion?

If He doesn't get the fluke toe injury, he is the sure fire #1 pick perhaps even moreso than rose and wall were

Might turn out and actually how they turn out are completely different. Just admit you can't judge a class until at least 5 years, and that anyone calling the draft weak is weak minded and can't think for themselves.
