Because he doesn't speak English? Really, you have to bet your life savings on him vs. Thompson(a guy who got kicked off his HS team) in an IQ test, who are you taking? LOL

Haha 2kool u seem to be making a lot of assumptions..not very logical

    Kyrie Irving is Lebron's buddy....

You told me you wer like bosh, why's that?
I don't know. I have little body. Wtf is that??

I don't like the Jonas kid because I dont think he will ever be a major contributer. I don't think Thompson will either, but I'd rather have a guy who can play now. We already have our project player in eyenga. That's enough for me.

The entire draft is assumptions. I hope I'm wrong obviously, but on paper, that was a reach. Which I could understand if it was at a position of need, but it's actually at the one position the team could be considered strong at.

Cancel my comment from before. Now the proposed trade is showing the 19th to the Bucks. I didn't think that was included before.

No he's not. Didn't sign with LRMR and they were putting the full court press on him. Besides, even if he was he didn't play on the same team with him.

No....not since he refused mavericks services

International players are flying off of the board

Well, according to Irving he is. So I'm taking him at his word.
Besides, even if he was he didn't play on the same team with him.

    What does that matter?

Further more, who cares if the players are friends with Lebron? Unless they aren't playing hard against him, then it doesn't matter. Chris Paul is his closest friend, and I'd climb through a mile of broken glass for a 1% chance to have him in Cleveland.

RCF is gonna blow up, people are not happy about the Thompson pick
  • Midstate01
I understand people not being happy. I'm not crazy about it, I'm just happy they didn't take the Jonas kid.

Ill trust the scout in Europe who urged Detroit not to take darco who said jonas v will not be a good NBA player..over your assumption of the two players...who cares if they already have 4s on the team, u can never have too much of a position in the NBA, and this is a couple year rebuilding process...surely between Thompson, jj, or varejao one of them could be traded to fill another position of need

BINGO !!! December 2nd was enough for me.

    oh, hai David Kahn!

They then beat them later in the year...

The fact they got blown out might have more to do with the overwhelming talent differential than the fact they may or may not be "buddies" with the opposing team's player.
  • BR1986FB
    They laid down for him...
  • Hb31187
Yeah the worst team int he league (or 2nd worst) getting blown out by a NBA finals team doesnt really mean they laid down for him. IMO at least
  • Commander of Awesome
Any news on Cavs moving up?

Obviously kahns idiocy is an exception...although the wolves are quietly putting together a very good young team, especially if rubio pans out

How do you explain the win later in the season?

No, they laid down for him. They laid down for Kobe too. So we need to start looking into potential relationships there. I hear him and Eyenga ran into each other during the off-season.
SportsAndLady;811887 wrote:Obviously kahns idiocy is an exception

Oh okay, so that's the one exception to the rule. Got it

So reading on twitter that Thompson worked out for the cavs and went against kanter and Williams and the cavs loved how well he did.

That's funny because the Cavs at, I believe, 7-9 were far from the 2nd worst team in the league at that point. That loss sent them into a downward spiral.
