Probably already mentioned but the Cavs have worked out David Lighty recently...

Would love him in the 2nd round. You know he's going to work his tail off, and his length and athleticism would make him a solid defensive stopper off the bench IMO.

I want Lighty in the second round.. Good sized wing player who would play defense and become a knock down 3 point shooter, plus has some good athleticism as well.

Nbadraft.net has the Cavs taking Kanter with the 1st pick and Knight with the 4th. I dont like that at all.

Irving is the #1 pick unless something crazy happens.

Have no idea who these guys are, but I'm assuming they're trying to "go against the grain" by having Kanter go #1...

No kidding. If you're going to go Knight at #4, Williams should be the #1 pick. I WANT the Cavs to draft Kanter but that's only at #4 and IF Williams is off the board (highly probable). Either way, still think Irving is the #1 pick.

The website that has the Cavs picking Kanter just lost all of its credibility. They are picking Irving and if they don't pick him its the dude from Arizona St

Lighty is a more athletic Jawad Williams. Like him in the 2nd for a team that is willing to be patient with Jim and let Jim get some minutes. The Cavs fit.

I haven't been following much NBA draft shit, but it is pretty surprising reading through the last few pages and David Lighty is on everyone's mind. I didn't think he would get drafted....that would be a nice surprise.

I hadn't heard anything about there being any interest until a link from one of the local Cleveland sports blogs popped up on my Facebook. That was the first I'd heard of interest in Lighty and I believe that blog had a link to the Plain Dealer.

There wouldn't be any Lighty interest if he wasn't from Ohio. He's played along side so many great bigs and one of the best 3 point shooters in OSU history and still wasn't that great of a shooter even though he was always open. Add in his age and he isn't going to be their first round 2 pick. Maybe their last pick, but I have a feeling that will be a project.

I have to admit, I'm a Buckeye homer and I had thought that it would be a stretch for Lighty getting drafted. His athleticism might get him a look, but he is a serious project. I don't think he can really create a shot and up until before his last season at Ohio State he was a very poor shooter

I check that site often, and they've pretty much had either Irving or Williams at #1 for weeks/months. Not sure why they would change it now. Also, Williams played for Arizona, not Arizona State.

This article tries to explain why they moved Kanter to #1. http://www.nbadraft.net/2011-extended-mock-draft-40

I see Lighty going overseas to work on his game, and maybe getting a shot in 3 or so years. But honestly, I don't know if Eyenga is any better than Lighty.

I think someone will definitely take a flier on Lighty in round 2. He's a winner, he's versatile, and a very good defender.

So i was listening to X's and O's with the Pros last night and they were talking about a video of him masturbating that he sent to Miss Hawaii that was going to be released online the day before the draft. Bently thought it would hurt his draft stock. I didn't see any threads/news on this today. Anyone else here the same thing? I am certainly not googling it.

I see. I hope the cavs still take him first. I could care less about this crap, it hasn't hit ESPN yet, but if a video of him is release it will probably be a shit storm.

Video of him jerking off? Who gives a shit. Doesn't mean he can't ball.
