Yes. I'm not a huge Beasley fan but he's certainly worth the 30th pick in the draft. I wouldn't give up a Cavs 1st because it's far more valuable.

I could see that. Him coming off the bench for up to 15-20 min a game is worth the 30th pick for sure. If he's starting for us though, we're not a very good team. He gets abused on the def side of the ball.

Beasley would start for the Cavs and be their most talented player as their current roster sits, no doubt about that.

I think there is quite a bit of doubt about that.

Well it would depend on what they would do in the draft, but he would be the best 3 or 4 man they have

Granted it was a game a year and a half ago, these people know their shit. This would worry me a little bit.

Also, on Dan Patrick's show on Monday, while interviewing Amare, he mentioned that Nash was rumored to be involved in a deal for the number 2 pick. Someone reaaaallly wants Derrick Williams. But why Phoenix?

Phoenix is in rebuild mode and he's a local guy. Makes sense for them to go hard after him.

Nash is still a great player but hes also a million years old. No way in Hell Minnesota would do that deal.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but the Cavs are offering the TPE for Iggy

Clippers are also working on a deal for Iggy that might be a little better so I doubt this happens

I think you are underestimating David Kahn

Ehh..for only the TPE, it'd be a good get.
  • Pick6
Dont want any part of Iggy either.

As for the introduction, fuckin' hilarious

This. The Cavs need a scorer and Iggy can do that. I'm not sure what his current contract is though.

I just don't know if there would be a better offer for the Cavs. And I'm pretty certain there will be one for Philly.

~$44 million over the next 3 yrs looks like.

The Cavs need a lot of things, but we need them years down the road when we actually are going to be contending for a title. Iggy does nothing for us, other than give us a huge expiring contract for a TPE that is going to expire. I'll pass, unless Philly is willing to throw in a draft pick, which I can't see them doing.

#4 plus a player or pick for Monte?
  • hoops23
I don't really take anything from that.. He's just asking people's opinions on who they think could be a 2nd round sleeper pick, like Monte, Redd, Boobie, or Andy..

    I dunno..
