  I cannot see RGIII in this offense. I like him, but he is the complete opposite of a west coast offense qb. I mean...if they do, they better adapt to his strengths, because he has a great deep ball.

  I wouldn't mind the Browns trading back a few spots at this point, assuming Blackmon is off the board when they pick.
  
  Now that Barkley is gone, if a team like Miami or Washington really wanted RGIII I'd have no problem with dropping back from like 5 to 8/9 to add an extra pick or 2.
  
  What I really hope we don't do at this point is make an unworthy reach QB pick with the second 1st rounder and take Tannehill or Nick Foles.

  Now you either trade for Bradford or move up for luck. You get a for sure franchise qb you do what it takes to get either of those minus giving up 3 first rounders

  It's kinda looking like the Browns may have just gotten themselves in the Luck sweepstakes. I know a lot of people don't want to hear this but if the Rams end up with the #1 pick, there's only ONE team in this draft, that needs a QB (Cincy & NE also have two 1st rounders), that has the firepower to get Luck...the Browns
  
  One of the advantages of Luck is that I think he'd "get" the fabled Browns/Steelers "rivalry." His dad grew up here and QB'd at a local Cleveland high school so I'm sure daddy would have some tales to tell him.
  
  If they were to trade for Bradford and the Rams took Luck, I think Bradford could likely be had for just a 1st rounder where they'd be selling the farm for Luck.

  SMH don't want to see that at all. The Colts still have to win against the Jags (very possible) in order to lose the #1 pick.

  Bradford for a 1st rounder? Absolutely no way. I really wanted the Browns to get Barkley, now I'm not sure who they go after.
  
  I saw on twitter this morning that Indy still has the first pick. But they play Jacksonville next week so may play themselves out of the top spot.

  Not suggesting it. Just saying it may be an option that Holmgren looks at since he tried to get him in the draft. That coupled with the fact that he had success in Shurmur's offense? I personally don't like the fact the guy is always injured. They already have a few players (Hardesty/Hillis) who can't stay healthy.

  No. Think Indy still gets the top pick due to strength of schedule. Indy has to win.

  well yeah, luck is a game changer..but it's going to take a lot of picks to do that.

  If the Rams are in the #1 slot, I don't think the price will be as steep as the Colts. I'd think the Rams would be kinda handcuffed. Do they take Luck and keep Bradford when they have so many other needs and can't find someone willing to pay their price? I don't think it takes three 1st's to get up to Luck if it's the Rams. Plus the Browns are the only team with the firepower that needs a QB (Cincy/NE also have two 1st's) that can give them any value.

  My thoughts exactly. I'd have to imagine the Rams will be more eager to trade down.

Had Cleveland's defense and special teams not squandered a 10-point third-quarter lead against the Bengals in Week 12, and had Phil Dawson connected on a chip-shot, game-winning field-goal attempt against the Rams in Week 10, then McCoy would have been a respectable 6-7 in his 13 starts and his support would have been greater than it is now.
  The margin of victory in football is so small, yet the ramifications of games that swing on single plays is so large. It doesn't make it right, but it does make it notable. Even though McCoy has struggled to lead the Browns to victories against AFC North teams in particular, it would be interesting to see what he would have done with the type of playmaking wide receivers and running backs who were absent from Cleveland's roster this season. As it is, McCoy still has been the Browns' offensive MVP. While calls for his job come, McCoy has shown enough to deserve another chance.
