The people that need to use their heads are the ones assaulting and cursing at children.
I went to NFL games when I was younger and people had the god damned decency to not be an asshole to a little kid.
If that happened ,which I think a little fibbing or over stating is going on here ...Most people are decent no chit ... 70,000 people and 30,000 are drunk and then you 10,000 drunk idiots ..like the bottle throwing incident a few years ago ....cmon man ..I dont condone the behavior ..I am just saying it happens -
NonYou don't want your kid or other kids to not be able to grow up going to sporting events because of screwed up adults.
They may live far away from the team they root for and can only see a road game. That's probably an exciting day to go to a live NFL game.
You should be aware that the fans are going to be rowdy. There might be some cursing and some taunting and things like that. But you shouldn't get attacked. There is a pretty clear difference. -

Obviously ...and I would help you kick the SOB ... A home game and maybe I would take my kid at 12 or 11 ...7 or 8 maybe too young anyway to appreciate the game and a little young to be around alot of drunks...... But to dress him in Jets gear at 7 nope ..You are looking for a fight IMO ..As soon as somebody drops a MFer bomb behind you and that guy doesnt see the kid you might be ready to go ... Its like taking a kid into a bar ...... I think the dad was irrespnsible and stupid ...Was it within his right yes ..I dont live in a fantacy world ,some of you guys do ......Things are not perfect ..Common sense is something not everybody has.. -

And it doesn't "happen" unless we all agree that it "just happens".
Common sense is not assaulting a little kid for Christ's sake. -

Its impossible to get through a Browns game thread without reading pages of his garbage. I think somebody has been keeping count of how many times he posts on a Browns thread compared to the number of times on a Steelers thread, its like 20:1. It gets pretty damn annoying
+1, its getting to the point of ridiculous. -
killer_ewokModell definitely needs to go. He's not the only troll that needs the boot though. The copycats need to be eliminated too. Either that or learn to have some self control.
It doesn't make much sense to call for someone's head when you're basically doing the same shit. -
ytownfootballYeah kinda funny how Art being the subject of much of the debate here, while on line here throughout the night, remains speechless on the subject.

like_thatI didn't even know there was a "report the post" button. After mentioning it, I just noticed it was that little "!" hiding underneath everyone's avatar.

Now I know Capone was doing it first but you do the same shit in Steelers threads from time to time.Commander of Awesome;563660 wrote:+1, its getting to the point of ridiculous.
It's a lot easier to say "hey, there's this one asshole ruining the sports forum" if it's actually true. As of now though there are several who do the same types of things in Steelers/Browns/Cavs/whatever threads and then all say they do it because Capone does it. -
dat dudeIsn't Non some guy in his mid 40s who is single and writes a sports column for some random shitty florida newspaper?

Thats exactly why I think this story is bullshit. Any self respecting father I know would have confronted the guy, win or lose.shook_17;563537 wrote:so why didn't the dad beat this dudes asss? just sayin. if somebody tackled my 8 year old. i woulda beat his asss -

If you have the nerve to show up with all 3 of your brothers and talk trash at the Stadium that day...you deserve what you and your 3 brothers GET. If its a verbal abuse from the fans, or if you think you have the man juice to step up to a group of fans...you will get what you deserve.
I do know if someone comes in my house and talks bad about myself or my family, I'll do everything in my power to not make that happen.
Now amplify that thought by 20 Bud Lights and imagine what COULD happen.......
I'm pretty sure you and your 3 brothers will stay relatively quiet when you visit Cleveland Browns Stadium on the 2nd of January, if not the fear of your own life, but more of common sense. At least I HOPE that you have a little. Because going into someones house and raising hell is just asking for trouble...period.
I...and most of this OhioChatter community know you are just a lot of big talk behind a computer screen. So we pretty much expect comments like this out of your mouth. This time I'm honestly not angry, hell, I ENCOURAGE you to be that obnoxious, as obnoxious as you are on here, to the asshole you are, to be the troll you are. PLEASE....for the sake of all thats holy, be that guy that day...and see where it lands you!
Because I don't care if its a game against Buffalo, or a game against Jacksonville....when its the Browns vs the Steelers...its a whole different breed of Browns fan who comes out! -

This is what I am talking about ..It is not safe in that stadium ..I think they like it that way ... Since they havent had a football team to be proud of for so long they can atleast let theyre rep be crazy fans like Oakland ...Go4alOngbOmB;563835 wrote:Tell ya what old buddy old boy....

ThinthickbigredSee this is why you dont bring a 7 or 8 year old kid to a NFL away game in enemy colors .... I dont believe this story though it just smells of BS all the way .....Just cant see anybody tackling a child and not getting a beatdown by even the Browns fans ...I am a Steeler fan and I wouldnt stand by and see a child in a different uniform get tackled ofcourse we are not animals in Pittsburgh LOL....

I think there is a big difference between taking your kids to games and taking them into the Muni Lot. I haven't really decided at what age I will take my kids to Browns games. I know I wish I would have been able to go to them when I was a kid but at the same time I know how rowdy they can get. If/when I do take them I would definitely consider sitting in the family section where things are more tame. And I would NEVER take them into the Muni Lot until they were at least in high school. Even then it would likely be to stop by a tailgate and have some food or see some people. I wouldn't tailgate in the traditional sense(i.e. drink) with them around which makes me wonder why this guy and his kid were even in the lot to begin with. There are plenty of other places to park near the stadium. -

I think most of the Steelers fans on here are sick of Capone as well, they would be glad to see him go. Its not like he contributes anything to Steelers threads -

Not as long as the other trolls get the same treatment. If you bounce them but a Cleveland fan who trolls Steeler threads gets to stay....well, they would be playing favorites and proving that it's not really about getting rid of trolls. Rather, it would show that you're only trying to get rid of the trolls who bash your team but the troll(s) who cheer for your team get to stay.
Basically, it would be like JJ's was. And that would be a damn shame. -
TiernanThis whole thread is definitive proof of why CFB is 1000x better than the POS product the NFL has devolved into. Yea yea yea, I'm somewhat hypocrytical because I still follow it, but most fanatic NFL supporters are blue collar, beer bellied, has beens who once upon a time long ago scored 4 TDs at Polk High. And Browns & Steelers fans are the worse of the entire lot.

KR1245The mentality and behavior of some of these fans is pathetic. I have seen it at every stadium that I've been to. Its just a damn game. Its the people like Capone who have never laced up a pair of cleats in their life that take this stuff too seriously. I'm a diehard Cleveland and Ohio State fan, that doesnt mean I'm going to kick the shit out of some guy because he disagrees with me. I cant think of anything more lame. Most of these tough guys wouldnt have the balls to stand up and say something one on one, you get them drunk with and surround them with some of their fellow fans they are all of a sudden this hardass.

All bans go through me first and the Browns aren't my team, so there. -

I might agree with you. I might not. I might teach my 5 year old kid to call Browns fans assholes and take him tailgating in the Muni lot. I'm just not sure yet.
