Easily. It would be awful for the downtown area -
The EnforcerNot sure that it means anything, but it is now being reported that LeBron was on a conference call with Wade and Bosh early this morning.

Who knows at this point. Byron Scott and Cavs assistants are at his camp right now. This might mean something as well. -

Makes sense considering the organization was in big trouble before it got Lebron -
wes_mantoothBroussard has Miami as the frontrunner now..followed by Cleveland. At one point, I think Broussard had OhioChatter as the leader.

They didn't get one of the big 3, but there is a good chance Boozer/David lee ends up there and they will still have alot of cap room to add another piece or 2.
That will be a significant upgrade for them, and Rose will continue to develop into a budding star. They will be a handful at the very least for anyone in the east with a low post scoring presence. -

Wes...I heard the Cavs are going to do a S/T with a team from the ABA with this team receiving Lebron and the Cavs receiving a washing machine and a gurney -

At this point...I will take it. -

Jackie Moon has arrived at Lebron's camp -
jpake1I wouldn't be worried about LBJ to Miami until Beasley is gone. If he gets traded... I might worry. Bosh took a pay cut. Wade seems like he wouldn't mind it if it really helped them. They need Beasley's 4.9M gone before LBJ is a thought. With Bosh in place, only a team that's given up will do that. I wouldn't blame a team though for getting Beasley. If you aren't a good team, why worry about creating a dynasty for the next 5 or so years? You still won't be competing with them, but you may helf yourself get a more talented squad and maybe make the playoffs in a year or two to make a bit more money.

KR1245I really dont think Lebron would go on Natl TV and annouce to the world that he is going to cut the heart out of his hometwon fans. It just doesnt sound like something he would do. I dont know the guy personally and I could be way off base here. Its just the feeling I get from his words and actions over the past 7 years. I could be wrong but I really hope that I'm not.

This is a very valid point. If Beasley gets moved, I'd be really worried that he's going to Miami. As it stands, I'd be shocked if his (Lebron's) ego would allow him to take the pay cut. -
wes_mantoothI want him to surprise us and go somewhere crazy......Sacramento!!

Old news. I'm called the Jackie & Jamario Moon/Lebron James "triumvirate" to the Flint Tropics a week ago. -

I don't really understand that, but whatever. I mean if he's gonna leave he's gotta tell Cleveland somehow, might as well apologize to the city on National TV so the fans know he's not just leaving in the night (fuck you Modell). -
KR1245I think doing it this way would be worse. Just my opinion.

Thing is, to me, initially the vibe coming from the free agent class this year was that LeBron was the ringleader. I don't know if he alluded to himself in that fashion or if that was just media concoction, but there was this whole "this is the biggest class ever and LBJ's the ringleader" mentality going on.
And now...all these other pieces are falling before "the ringleader" and they aren't falling in a way that benefits Cleveland. With the biggest one being Bosh supposedly nixing a deal to Cleveland. Right now, it's looking like the Cavs' best chance is to have him sold on how a new coach combined with familiar teammates will be enough to get over the hump next year, as no improvements have yet been made. It's one of those things, but I think he might be leaning one way, but is keeping his options open in case things aren't looking good for that one way. -

If the choice is that, or playing with Bosh/Wade for a coach who has led his team to 6 championships as coach and 1 as a player.Right now, it's looking like the Cavs' best chance is to have him sold on how a new coach combined with familiar teammates will be enough to get over the hump next year, as no improvements have yet been made.
With the east getting significantly stronger and the Cavs being able to get him no real help, I am wondering if Bosh turning his nose up at Cleveland/Lebron is going to start to turn the needle away from Cleveland for Lebron.
24 hours ago I was 100% sure at this point he was coming back, now I just don't know. Could this end up spooking Lebron into worrying that Cleveland is a deterrent in that no stars want to come here, and in that case how can he afford to stay here then when viable help continues to run away from him/ this city. -

If he's moved before 9pm tomorrow, I would be very very worried. I've said countless times that Pat is a genious and that he literally rapes people in deals (most of the time). It appears that Riley has ALL the power with Toronto. He's got Bosh without a S&T, now it's a matter of if the Raptors would like to rethink their stance just to get a single thing. Is Beasley such a bad player than you couldn't take him for the next year or two? How about their pick? The Raptors without Bosh will SUCK. Their protection comes off the books in 2014. I'm sure Pat is telling them that not only will he will possibly create a nasty dynasty, but he may also get a legit top 3 pick in 2014 because the Raptors suck. The only thing worse than watching a dynasty be created is giving them a top 3 pick to build to it. The Raptors WILL NOT get that pick back without taking Beasley. Riley would be more than willing to give that up for the space to get James. Still a long way to go, but Pat played poker and just got a fuck load of chips and is looking to get more. Even with the space, I don't know if LBJ comes. I think he's got one hell of an ego, and would be ballsy enough to sign in NY or stay in Cleveland to take on the Heat, Magic, Celtics, and Lakers. -
wes_mantoothEspn is saying that even if he doesn't get moved Lebron, Wade, and Bosh would only have to take a small paycut(15 mil instead of the 16.6) to make it happen.

Yeah, but there is no need to dedicate an hour television show for him to announce his departure from his home. -
jpake1Bosh has taken a pay cut, I don't see him doing more. Wade would have to take on his portion IMO, so unless Wade is willing to take on 13M, I don't see Miami getting LBJ.
Is there a trade out there that makes great sense for everybody? I'd target the Jazz, and try to send West (cut), Andy, and maybe a filler. Andy seems like a guy Sloan would like, and cutting money to the Jazz is something they like. Even then, they'd need a center with the MLE, or find a way to get a good center by sending out Jamison. -

Broussard..who has flip flopped more than anyone said that Toronto is scrambling trying to get a sign and trade done for Bosh.
