I dont think so. Kerr didnt want to pull the trigger with Amare. This wasnt the first year that Amare rumors were out there at the deadline. It looked like Amare was going to re-sign with them for awhile. -
wes_mantoothBTW, even though Reghi won't drop a name, he is giving it away.....The Cavs are trying to get a deal done for CP3.

Reghi is a jackass. I hope to God that this is true. I just dont see it happening. N.O is going to hold onto him.
With that........I think the Cavs can still get busy. They need to make some upgrades regardless, what are they waiting for? -

I'd have an instantaneous orgasm. -
wes_mantoothMaybe we are dealing for Ricky Davis and Diop

Took the words right out of my mouth. That would be 100x better then Bosh -
IggyPride00I will be flabergasted if the Cavs get Paul.
If he was legitimately on the market, teams would bid like crazy for him and they could get better players in return than the Cavs could offer.
Memphis recently offered O.J Mayo, San Antonio in the past has talked about Tony Parker for him.
I mean Chris Paul brings in a different level of player in return than the standard package of Delonte West's contract, JJ and some other trash.
Plus, if it were just a straight salary dump, there are teams with cap room who would take him back for draft picks, and the Hornets wouldn't even have to take contracts back.
Any way you look at it this has like zero probability of happening. -
wes_mantoothJust guessing, but I would guess that Okafor's contract would have to be included.

probably the best post regarding the cp3 nonsense. -
wes_mantoothReghi is saying that his "source"(lol) is telling him that Lebron does not want to play with Boozer in Chicago. He is still butt hurt(paraphrasing) over Boozer bailing on him.

Yeah but I actually mean in a sexual way because Chris Paul is hot as fuck.

wes_mantooth
maybe he did too....lolFab4Runner;414642 wrote:Yeah but I actually mean in a sexual way because Chris Paul is hot as fuck.

OneBuckeye^ I would think he would be unhappy with him to. Not sure why the bulls would sign him if they want Lebron too.

I agree 100%. Heard this and I knew he was talking about CP3. Don't know that they can or will do it but I'd be stunned if that wasn't the target. He made it sound like they needed to do something out of desperation and Paul would seal the deal.
I also agree with Reghi that LBJ won't be joining Wade & Bosh in Miami especially after the weasel lie that Bosh made that was reported by Michael Wilbon. The Cavs are trying to work a S&T with Toronto and you "really don't know what way Lebron would be leaning", Chris? Really?
Also agree that LBJ could be pulling a Jordan and drawing a line in the sand with a big "fuck you, I'm up to the challenge and will take you out from Cleveland" type attitude. If Miami ISN'T on his wishlist I guarantee you that Bosh & Wade will now be on his shitlist. IF Cleveland is his destination I think we could see a much meaner Lebron....and THAT is a good thing. -

lol fair enough
Edit: As I wrote this I notice what you guys posted. Hell, I'm straight as a nail, but the thought of Chris Paul running our offense would get me hot. -
IggyPride00
That had better be the case, because otherwise he is going to end up like Kobe before the Gasol deal when the west got really top heavy and Kobe didn't have the necessary help to compete.IF Cleveland is his destination I think we could see a much meaner Lebron....and THAT is a good thing.
Lebron can't be thrilled by the consolidation of talent going to a few eastern teams, as you are now going to have a war on your hands just getting out of the conference as Chicago, Miami, Boston, Orlando and Cleveland all could be legit contenders given the moves they've made.
Like what happened this year, the 2nd round now is no longer a given, and you will have to really earn it to get through.
Even bottom feeders like NY and NJ should at least be considerably improved. -
wes_mantoothQuestion...
Even with STAT, is the Knicks roster better than the Cavs roster? -

Stat is better than anybody the Cavs have outside of Bron.....rest of the roster is garbage. I still take the Cavs -

That isn't scarying anybody. He's been in the league 7 years now. If that's what it takes for him to get much meaner, then that was his problem to start. He's the arguably the best, no doubt, but I imagine most people would laugh at the notion that LBJ is coming back with vengance and that they'd see something like they've never seen before!! He's been a beast for awhile now, but teams have found a way to put a stake in him 7 straight seasons-- aim for the teammates. -
wes_mantoothWill someone give Gloria some crack so she will start spouting off at what her baby boy is going to do?

False. The Suns couldn't decide whether to deal him or not. The Cavs couldn't wait any longer for them so they went to their back-up plan.
